OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:1ST set had a bad stick, NCIX exchanged it with no problems.2nd set doesn't run at rated speed and timings.

Pros:They look nice
Comment:
With all the problems I had with these I'm not surprised why they have a $30 mail in rebate. The 1st set gave me PAGE_FAULT errors when installing WIN 7, so I checked each stick with Memtest 86 and bingo one of the sticks crapped out 5 seconds into testing. The second set worked fine only at 1066 speeds, anything above that even with loose 9-9-9-24-T2 timings and a manual set 1.65v would boot into windows but would error out in Prime 95 in no time. I even tried these in my friends Intel P55 rig and we couldn't get it stable at 1333. Replaced these OCZ with Corsair XMS3 TW3X4G1333C9DHX 4GB which I have used in 2 other builds, oc'd them to 1600 and they are rock solid with P95, buyer beware.

Good Deal Works well
Comment:
This Ram works great.. Great Price.. This memory is Meant for Intel Socket Mother boards.. However.. It will work great in AMD Boards as well, IF YOU CAN CONTROL RAM VOLTAGE IN THE BIOS. You must to set it to 1.65V or slightly higer for the ram to work correctly.. If your AMD board cannot do this, look elsewhere... I am using an AMD AM3 board it this Ram WORKS AWESOME

Worst experience so far with OCZ product.
Comment:
Overall the product are okay except that I could get them to run at their supposedly advertise speed. I am using M4A785TD-M EVO and I could not seem to find the exact specs to get them running at specs. They are also quite pricey 2 or 3 weeks ago and sudden drop down in price would have justified their poor performance coming from OCZ.

not as bad as most reviews say
Comment:
like lots of others, i got this in a barebone kit. it's advertised as low voltage, but it's not. i kept getting random restarts until i changed the ram voltage to 1.65 in the bios. now it's fine. most people aren't researching their problems before they complain.

Not with i5
Comment:
I installed this with my Intel i5, and it wouldnt even start. after talking to numerous tech support representatives, the conclusion was the voltage was too high. 1.6v and lower. the .05v made a huge difference.

A struggle
Comment:
I bought mine in a kit, that had this paired with it. I read the reviews and went ahead anyway. I don't know a lot about memory, but it was pretty clear the numbers were not lining up between the mother board and these sticks. My first two orders each came with one dead stick. I had to do two returns before getting a set that both worked. I have seen two blue screens on my machine running win 7 since install, cannot say for sure if that's memory related or not. Performance does seem to be ok once I had two working sticks.

Listen to the Reviews!!!
Comment:
I thought I would go the cheap route with my build, and I figured since they put this with all of the barebone kits, so why not buy it? I also figured that all the bad reviews were from only the people that had bad experiences. Well either way you should LISTEN to the reviews! This is not a quality product. It arrived DOA. I ended up ordering a corsair kit and am now happily pleased. This company needs to figure out how to produce a higher quality product. Save yourself time and return hassle by spending a little more and getting an exponentially better product.

AMD vs Intel
Comment:
Seems most of the problems are with AMD boards. I run in Intel P55 and works great with I5 processor.

Good value
Comment:
Price was good, bought 2 sets, 1 stick bad in second set. Some adjustments needed on Gigabyte MA790GPT-UD3H board to run at 7-7-7-24T at 1333. Was building 2 identical systems, one system needed voltage adjustment to 1.65V, other one ran at 1.6V.

Not worth the trouble
Comment:
I read the other review before purchasing, but assumed that most of the problems being reported were user error. Big mistake. 4GB of this memory generates volumes of errors on memtest, and now I need to pay for shipping to return it and look elsewhere.

You'll get what you paid for minus teh rebate
Comment:
The RAM was cheap after rebate- but that is it. No matter what I tried, I always got errors in Memtest, specially in test 8. OCZ support was useless- don't waste your money and time. Buy something else. My system- M4A78T-E, AMD 955BE, OCZ 600W modextreme PSU.

Looks Pretty but I don't need Pretty
Comment:
I need memory to be dead reliable. Finding this in a barebone kit I started reading reviews and conclude that the failure rate is relatively high. I'm returning it and already ordered same spec Corsair sticks. I don't have time to mess with glitches and bizarre action from computers.

OZC need better quiality control
Comment:
Bought an extra 4 gigs to make 8 gigs total. Got the blue screen of death running Windows 7 64bit. Ran fine with Windows 7 32bit. Pulled 4 gigs out and installed on at a time and found the bad stick of memory. Appears to have a common problem with OZC memory. I still have not heard from OZC at this time about the voltage difference. My Intel motherboard will not go above 1.6v. OZC specs say 1.65v to operate. It seems to run OK at 1.6v.

OCZ Platinum 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory
Cons:None so far

Pros:Fast and doesn't require messing around in BIOS to set it up.
Comment:
Perfect for my new i7 processor. Didn't have to mess around in BIOS.Ordered 2 sets, one set I had to send back... but that's what happens with ram sometimes, it's fragile. No problems with the other 4gbs though. even with running memtest+ overnight.

Im running on 2gb instead of 4 because of a defective stick. Other than that works fine and Tigers Direct took care of the problem quickly.

Good stuff
Comment:
Works great, got 8G total of it in my machine. My mobo had it clocked at 600 though, had to OC it to 1333. I got RAM fans over it so that plus the heat sink keeps it really cool.

DOA
Comment:
I also got 4gb of this ram with a barebones kit just to find out after assembly and pressing start button that the three beeps I was hearing was telling me that my new memory was defective, at least one stick was after pulling it out and getting a normal boot. I installed this doa dimm again after Bios update but its still didn't work. Bad memory out of the plastic. Look at all reviews here and you will see I'm not the only one with DOA Ram.

I'm not getting all 4 megabytes
Comment:
I was sorry to learn I needed a 64-bit operating system to see all 4 megabytes. But that's not the fault of the memory. It seems to be working great so far.
