OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Cap can get lost easily.
Pros: Fast, cheap, metal housing, lifetime warranty, Readyboost compatible, thin Comment:
Contrary to a previous review, this drive has a metal housing (not plastic) and has pretty fast reads and writes (25MB/s read 12MB/s write). Some people are apparently getting slow drives, but i have had no problem (Vertical packaging, blue LED)Also, being thin means it doesn't interfere with other USB devices in slots bedside it. Why some flash drive manufacturers can't get this right is beyond me. Lifetime warranty is "win" as well :DThe only part i would have them improve upon is the ability to attach the cap to the drive somehow. Mind you, i still havn't lost the cap to my 8GB Rally 2 (knock on wood) but it would still be nice if it was more secure. But hey, $15 AR = win! |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Lackluster performanceOCZ false advertising
Pros: Very solidFree lanyardReasonable speed Comment:
Another example of OCZ ripping off their customers. This is the second revision of this memory stick which is a great deal slower than the last revision but packaged and advertised as though it were the same speeds. However, I purchased this on sale, with a mail in rebate so for the price it was still a decent purchase. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
Cruddy lanyard, price
Pros: Capacity, Size Comment:
I got this on sale with the MIR for $15.00. For that price it is a very good drive. At regular price I would have a hard time justifying the purchase. Provided lanyard is not very high-quality. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:
- Plastic, time will tell if solid- Bright LED
Pros: - Fast for USB key- 16Gb is enough for my needs (PS3 usb key, fat32) Comment:
The key does what it's supposed to do, and quickly.I formatted it into FAT32 for using with PS3. I backed up my PS3 saved files, and using it sometimes to play media files. It completes my 2.5" 7200rpm drive enclosure very well (eSata & USB2) which is not FAT32. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Cap can easily get lost
Pros:Fast transfer speeds Comment:
It reaches 15MB/s top speed. Awesome little key, durable and isn't fat so it doesn't fight for space with the other USB devices. Only problem I have with it is its cap, it's not attached to anything so you have to look out for it or you will lose it forever. I recommend tying it with a piece of string to the key itself where there's a tiny gap between the clear and black part of the cap. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Poor construction
Pros:Fast (use with Windows 7 Ready Boost) Comment:
Great little key, only complaint was it fell apart around 30 days. Appears to be too little glue holding case together. |

Buy this one!
Comment:
I have had about 8 different sticks. This one seems to hold up better than the others and was obtained at a great price. The great warranty says it all in how long it will work. I have other brands fall apart and some just die- cheap parts I guess. If I have to buy another one OCZ has my business. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Bright LED
Pros:FastAffordableLooks coolLifetime warranty Comment:
Compared to my Patriot XT 16GB drive:-slightly faster in read/write-cap stays on a bit better-slimmer so it doesn't interfere with other USB adapters-LED is more distracting (bright orange, takes up the entire tip) This review was modfied by poster @ 07-13-09 06:29 PM |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Comment:
Great drive, very fast! I use it to hold my video and music files. Great for that purpose. Gave it a 4 on features because it has a losable cap and comes with no additional software. Also mine didn't come with the USB extension cable as pictured here. None the less one of the fastest 16GB drives for one of the cheapest prices in this size range. Also, be aware that ALL drives are rated for capacity by multiples of 1 billion. For example, 16GB means 16 billion bytes in this case. Windows reports it based on 16x1024x1024x1024 (true gigabyte). Therefore this is as much of a 16GB drive as much as any other rated for 16GB. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:Died, and the other one is falling apart from the inside out.
Pros:Blazing Fast Speeds Comment:
1st 16gb stick lasted 5 months approx with no issues then one day it just dies with (device is un-recognized) error. Had to be RMA'd. Buy another stick that's exactly the same only 2 days after buying it the insides are loose so you can touch the USB end of the stick and move the inside board around. Just hoping OCZ has a good RMA department and helpful support staff. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Cons:None.
Pros:Overall above average quality and speeds. I would buy again. NTFS (easily done in Vista). Didn't work for me first time (used quick format). Second time, I haven't checked "quick" and worked since then. Comment:
Had the same stick but 4GB for 10 months, never tried NTFS with it, but was 100% stable/reliable.Weird issue with the LED, though not really important, with my 4GB the LED is on even on idle, with my 16GB the LED is off and only on when active. Though my friend has a 16GB as well and it is on even on idle. This review was modfied by poster @ 04-08-09 02:34 PM |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Comment:
Excellent data read and write speeds. Very quick 'safe eject'. I have sued the lexar and sandisk brands a lot and this has the fatest read/write speeds (upto 23 MB/s read, 17 MB/s write during my sue). The cap does get loose with a week or so, and that is the only weak area of this drive. Otherwise, its an excellent value for money. |

OCZ Rally2 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive
Comment:
You want a reliable, fast and durable 16Gig flash drive then get a Patriot XPorter. There is no comparison! |
Based on ATTO Benchmark, this is slightly slower than the first one I purchased years ago, but you wouldn't be able to notice the difference.Read 28.5 MB/s and Write 16.9 MB/s on a FAT32 format. After reading on a few forums of people having slow read and write speeds, I guess I lucked out.
