I'm sure this will be great!

This is dual channel not tripple channel! Must be a typo...I've had nothing but great experiences from OCZ and Tiger Direct. Both are top notch in my book. Seen a few peeps post on here that they can't get them to run at 2000MHz. Ya'll need to go back to OC school. These are the bomb! |

OKAY - 790i

When I run this at 2000mhz on my evga 790i ultra, I get blue screen of death after about 5 ten minutes... so I set it at default and it works just fine. Just wish I could use the 2000mhz. |

Great Deal

This is an incredible deal. If I open a lot of tabs in Mozilla, it slows down, but I'm pretty sure it's because I'm running Linux, which apparently is not great for running Mozilla. Other than that, these are great ramsticks. |

WRT the review below: If you're using the all 4 DIMM slots in the 790i you won't be able to run this RAM at its maximum frequency. This is mobo related though and has nothing to do with the RAM itself. |

Paired with the XFX 790i Ultra, set the timing to 9-9-9-30 2T 2.0V. The default values assigned in the BIOS are off, and my system used to lockup. |

I am using this with the XFX 790i mobo and it works excellent.. I read in lots of forums and people say this memory is just hype and not really faster... uh, they need to buy some and see for themselves.. I first booted and had it set at 1333 Mhz, the same as the FSB and then booted it at 2000 Mhz... It was a huge difference and this is lighting fast memory. with the XFX 790i, be sure and use memory slots 1 and 3 or else it will come up as 1333 Mhz. |
I have 790i SLi motherboard for which this memory is made for but it would not run at rated specs in either a 2gb set or a 4gb set. Skip this series and move up to Reaper which is now in my machine and running perfectly.
