OCZ StealthXStream OCZ400SXS 400W Power Supply
Cons:- 1 - PCI-E cable.- Did not come with screws or badge sticker inside.- Packaging is lacklustre compared to the higher end power supply companies. Small bubble wrapping on the power supply.- Purchased in Nov 2009 but inspection sticker stated 2008.- Nylon cable is not fully sleeved to the end of the power supply box.
Pros:- Nylon Sleeving.- Quiet 140mm Fan (Personal Opinion).- High Efficiency Rating. Comment:
Read the review on Hardware Secrets and since was on sale that made my decision quickly. Purchased this to replace an aging Antec power supply for a low end single core machine with 4-fans, 1-writer, 1-floppy, 2-hard drive and video card. According to the multi-meter the 12v rails was within 3% and the 5V & 3.3V was within 2%. This is overkill for this system but at least I have have some room for future additions. Again, it only comes with 1 - 6+2 pin PCI-E cable so it's probably not meant for mid or high end machines (YMMV). I purchased this for a customer who needed a 400 Watt power supply unit and this unit fit the bill perfectly. It's very quiet and perfoms it's intended task.A great power supply for a great price.I would definetly buy again.
