OCZ StealthXstream II OCZ600SXS2 600W Power Supply
Cons:
...when they work
Pros: Lots of power... Comment:
I love the Stealths and ModXStreams but sometimes it may be better to just get a higher tier brand name psu. Still, I keep coming back to these OCZ PSUs. |

OCZ StealthXstream II OCZ600SXS2 600W Power Supply
Cons:
-Poor quality connectors-Ordinary 12v amp-Not modular-No cable management solutions
Pros: -Low cost(if on sale)-Silent Comment:
A lot of things were awkward with this PSU during installation. First, the lack of refinement in the cables makes it hard to move them around and even harder to connect them. I'm still not sure if the PSU is well connected to the Motherboard, because I heard no click, even though I had to beat the hell out of the connector to make it fit (yes, I looked at the foolproof indications first). Then, when I linked the Antec 3-speed from the case to the 12v connectors, I tried every geometrical solution to make them fit, but in the end I broke - and almost broke another - one of the 4-pins connectors from the fans. Also, one of the small "pushers" (you'll know when you see them) on the side of the PSU connectors was already broken when I got it.The way the PCI express cable is made, you have to bend the wires and make them fit in a way that puts a lot of stress on the video card and the connectors. It may be the same if you try to connect two CPU's (for dual-cpu Mobos), because the wire is built the same way.Not being modular is, for me, a great weakness for a PSU. There are wires everywhere in the case, I can barely understand the airflow in there and IMO, the length of the cables is a minimum for Mid-tower cases. This product is far behind what I got from Enermax years ago |

Cons:
Small form factor doesn't fit nciely in dell xps chassis
Pros: Very stable Comment:
Bought this as a replacement for the cheap PSU in a XPS that kept flicking out on brown-outs. So far the computer stopped rebooting every time the wind blow on the power line. |

OCZ StealthXstream II OCZ600SXS2 600W Power Supply
Cons:
Only 3 SATA Power Connectors
Pros: Efficient 4 x 12V Rail q 18A. Comment:
Reasonable cable length for the SATA power connections. If you need to more power connections purchase some molex to sata power cable/adapters. They are not expensiveInstructions on how to connect PSU to motherboardhttp://www.ocztechnologyforum.com/forum/showthread.php?38579-OCZ-StealthXstream-PSU-Installing-and-Connectors |
I bought this to fix a friend's PC. It has more power than I needed for a several-year-old gaming PC, but it's quiet and does the job just fine. The cables were easy enough to work with, but since they're not modular, it was a pain hiding everything that I didn't need. For $30 I'd buy it again.
