OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:reliabilityloud clicking
Pros:comfortadjustable Comment:
*** should be 1 star but it wont accept my order id **got two of these mice. one for me and one for my roommate. started flaking out within a month. 3 months later laser completely dead. roommates is presenting the same symptoms. apparently the laser is unreliable (read many other reviews after purchasing). no point in rma'ing a $20 mouse. heard stories of others rma'ing 3 times befor getting one that works. lesson learned sticking with logitech and spending $20 more. nothing against OCZ used many of their other product in the past (memory and psu's) guess mice just arent their bag. |

OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:lights don't turn offside buttons really loud and loud to click.
Pros:nice small mouse, not recomended for portability or laptop use.. keep it at home ;D Comment:
although i had 15$ on this mouse, and another 5$ still coming in, (don't know when it's coming), i find that this mouse is pretty comfortable in my hands. i don't use any of the weights, cause i find that if i take em off, where do i put them? and so, i lose them. it's a smooth mouse. good to the touch. |

OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:LOUD side buttons, DPI LEDs can't turn off. DPI settings took a bit getting used to
Pros:Ergonomic, adjustable weights Comment:
Ok, so I got the mouse on 15$ sale price, was looking for a decent, not too expensive ergonomic mouse. things I liked: ergonomic, laser, fast enough response time, no lag. Things I don't like: the DPI LEDs can't turn off, DPI settings took some time getting used to (either too responsive or not too responsive), LOUD side buttons, I was surprised at it, like come on you're making a mouse with all these features I DON'T want the cheap feel of loud side buttons, and personally I don't like the rubber grip, but that's just my preference. rma-ed the product after 2 weeks of use, seems the lasers are messed up. decent product, good if you're looking for something cheap. not the best gaming mouse out there This review was modfied by poster @ 09-17-09 06:16 PM |

It's cheap, have a lot of feature and it's comfortable. The only knock is the input lag, it's not great for gaming. It's noticeable. |

OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Broke easily
Pros:Extremely comfortable in the hand, easily adjustable DPI Comment:
This was a fantastic mouse when it was working. It was very comfortable in my hand (most mice feel too small and tend to give me hand cramps), and I loved the satiny finish. The 4-way adjustable DPI was a great feature that I used often. I never did get around to using the profiles or macros features or adjusting the weights, but it was nice to know they were there.I'm speaking in the past tense because this thing died on me after three months. The movement sensor just stopped working (an issue also noted for many of OCZ's mice on their support forum). I'm hoping to do an RMA, but that's going to depend on how much shipping costs. I only paid $25 for it on sale a while back, but I've had even cheaper mice last a lot longer than this one, so it's kind of disappointing. Also one of the four DPI indicator lights on top broke a couple weeks back; merely an aesthetic issue, but annoying nonetheless. If you get one that doesn't break, it's an excellent mouse. |

OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:Software isn't the easiest to useGripping this mouse takes a little while to get use to
Pros:Cheap, but has a quality feelFast DPI switching works really wellProfile switching is nice Comment:
When I opened the package I was very impressed by the look and the feeling of quality. I plugged it in and everything worked great! I didn't like the default DPI setting so I popped in the software. While not as easy to understand as Logitech's software I was able to change my DPI settings quite easy. The one thing that differentiates this and the G5 would be how you grip the mouse. The ergonomics of the G5 spoiled me and this one definitely was not as comfortable. It took me about a day before I started to get used to things, and havn't felt uncomfortable since.I'm definitely enjoying this mouse, and for the price, it's one of the best deals on a lazer mouse out there! |

OCZ Technology Eclipse Black Wired Laser Gaming Mouse
Cons:The software the mouse comes with is in one of those very small CDs. I can't install it on my laptop without using an external burner because my laptop's CD/DVD-ROM doesn't pop out (forgot what they call them), you just slide the CD/DVD in.
Pros:Cheap.Good quality.Changeable LEDs on the scroll wheel.Adjustable weights & DPI.Customizable with the software it comes with.Macros keyboard and other stuff. Comment:
This is my very first laser gaming mouse and I'm very happy with it. The mouse feels comfortable in my palm, just like the Logitech LX3/LX7. Along with the customizable buttons and macros and such, it is very cool and the changeable LEDs on the scroll wheel. It's also got weights inside the mouse, which you can take out as you please. This is very similar, but a much cheaper version of the Logitech G5. I recommend this mouse to anyone who wants a cheap laser gaming mouse or is on a very low budget and needs a cheap mouse. |
I have bought this mouse for my friend and while I prefer to use this mouse than a laptop mouse or a laptop, I don't find the mouse to be comfortable as it is too narrow for my taste. The price was very good, the fact it has adjustable weights is a good thing, but I don't really see the difference. The real big plus IMHO is the DPI on the fly, but OCZ makes other mouse that are better in the other aspects, that's why I would not make such a purchase for myself. However, my friend like it.I had a fairly minor issue at first, where the "padding" under the mouse was peeling off after the 1st week of use, I applied some pressure to it and since then it has not started peeling off again.
