OCZ Technology OCZ Vanquisher CPU Cooler - Socket 775 754 939 AM2
Cons:
Exhaust options on AM2 boards if you're real picky
Pros: Relatively easy to install. Fairly light weight for its size. Compound included seems to work well. |

OCZ Technology OCZ Vanquisher CPU Cooler - Socket 775 754 939 AM2
Cons:
AM2 orientation, finish
Pros: Silent, Cool, Inexpensive Comment:
I got this HS for my 6400+. It keeps it nice and cool, under load about 46C. Not noisy when used with QFAN or equivalent MB fan control. The temp I mentioned was with QFAN on. Only Real con is the orientation in AM2 exhaust up or down and not out the back, not a problem in 775 setup. small issue, could use lapping if not going with stock thermal, not mirror finish. |

OCZ Technology OCZ Vanquisher CPU Cooler - Socket 775 754 939 AM2
Cons:
some might prefer the AC stuff over the included OCZ compound...
Pros: Light, easy to install, Amd or Intel support, lots of chipsets supported Comment:
Ok...I got this included with the 5000+ BE and couldn't be happier. For AMD, you have to remove the Intel 4 post isntall pieces, and then just use the AMD latch down clip after just setting down on the CPU. IT does a wonderful job of cooling and i cannot hear it outside of my Antec case. Thumbs UP! |
When all is said and done this sink appears to hold its own. I currently have mine cooling a 5000BE OCd to 3.2ghz and load temps although difficult o get with my current motherboard seem just fine. Well under 50C.
