one out of two worked
Comment:
one out of two chips was bad, i flashed my bios thinking it was a problem on my end, and i ruined the mobo, anyway i returned the ram for a full refund and its not the site's fault, just be aware that sometimes you get bad ram. |

Tech man

I can't believe they made this RAM look like that. It looks so bad#ss... I like it. The previous review(s) about the black RAM cooler were right, but that gives this RAM an even more bold "kick butt" appearance. I put this RAM in my system and it works fast. That's all I have to say. I'm going to buy three more of these pretty soon. |

OCZ Technology OCZ Vista Upgrade 2048MB PC5400 DDR2 667MHz Memory

Upgraded from a pair of Kingston KVR 1GB Sticks to two of these babies. Using Windows 7 beta 32-bit, Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit and Mandriva Linux (triple-boot) and it made a huge difference in how the system runs. Games run better with no glitches and video/audio editing move along much better. I would recommend OCZ to anyone. Great memory. BTW, you probably won't get the copper colored heat spreader. Mine are black, but in my opinion, the black looks better anyway. |

Got this item with a rebate, and its very nice...smooth memory...no problems so far...very happy with the product |
First of all, the image is a little off. This specific product has a black heat sink instead of the ugly Gold. But, continuing on with the review... I ordered two of these, and both were actually delivered bad. I went through the RMA process with the manufacturer and they quickly returned replacements to me. They were very kind and worked very well with me. The whole process took less than a week. I now have these running in my board at 4-4-4-12 and they are sailing along. No problems with them yet. Good RAM for the price. Excellent buy. As far as the bad sticks are concerned, I am not worried, as long as the manufacturer is willing to work with you on replacements.
