OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB 2.5IN SATA2 Indilinx Arowana Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Cons:Read/write times are not the same as competitors*

Pros:Very FastGreat Chip (Indilinx = Great)
Comment:
The SSD performs the way it should. I use it as a secondary SSD for quickbooting my games.I have an Intel X-25M, 60-80 gb (I forget, I'm on my laptop and away from home right now), with my Operating system on it.The performance of the SSD is great, the read write times are stellar.Don't be fooled by the posted read and write times for this SSD however, it's misinformation and false advertising. For the newbies, like myself, read this: http://thessdreview.com/category/ssd-guides/It's not that difficult to read, just note that the images may be switched (Left should be on the right, and vice versa)The SSD does what it's supposed to do and it hasn't given me any problems.Though a word of caution, this SSD I believe was meant for the Macbook and has been 'Journaled' so to speak. I couldn't use this SSD right away and had to format the SSD and make it into an NTFS format SSD (I think its' NTFS anyways, it's been a while... look up guides if unsure). This is more or less my response to the people giving poor reviews for this SSD. This SSD is a great buy and has an EXCELLENT controller. The best SSD controllers on the market and the respective companies are Intel, Samsung (sells unmarked SSD's to others like apple), Indilinx and OCZ(The ranking for indilinx and ocz are interchangeable)All other brands, companies or controllers are basically rubbish. That's my personal opinion and it appears to be the general consensus of the more educated folks on the forums.

OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB 2.5IN SATA2 Indilinx Arowana Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Cons:I don't like the fact that Windows 7 is doing automatic disk checks on some reboots.

Pros:Not bad for the price point.
Comment:
I can't say I have a lot of confidence in this product. It is my boot drive!! I have a strange freeze up problem in file manager. Can't say for sure if it's Windows 7 64-bit or the SSD. Right now I'm thinking it's the SSD.

OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB 2.5IN SATA2 Indilinx Arowana Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Cons:Only support SATA2

Pros:Cheap $1/GB for SSD!
Comment:
This is for my wife and she loves it after I changed her Macbook HDD to SSD. Her computer is old enough that it doesn't support SATA3. So, this SSD is perfect!

OCZ Vertex Plus 120GB 2.5IN SATA2 Indilinx Arowana Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Cons:9 GB lost to format on NTFS....

Pros:Easy install, fast, light.
Comment:
This is my 3rd SSD. Have one in all of my machines. I use OCZ because of the price point and not had any problems with my 60gb Vertex, or 50gb vertex 2.Popped this in my Acer notebook, set it to first boot device and installed Win 7 no problem. As with my other 2 SSD's, it is a noticeable speed improvement for boot times and loading apps. Going from 640gb to 120gb is a bit of a loss, leave a decent class SD card with 16-32 GB in the card reader will help with that.
