OCZ Vertex Series 2.5" Solid State SATA II Hard Drive - 250GB

Cons:Drive died after 3 weeks of use. Is not recognized by the BIOS. Will most likely have to go back to the manufacturer.

Pros:Very fast, and quiet. Outperforms my previous RAID 0 setup in single drive mode.

Comment:
Indilinx Barefoot based SSDs are excellent for their performance, but the cache can die from heavy write-caching causing the drive to fail and no longer work. Definitely not for the faint at heart or those who do not make regular backups. I lost six days worth of work, but for many it could be a lot worse.
