OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:None!
Pros:QuietPowerful44.99 after MIR Comment:
Very nice. Is able to power my system with ease, with room for expansion. I don't think I'm stressing it at all, because the fan is barely felt and the air exhausted from the unit is barely hot. Very nice efficiency rating.Would buy another if I were building again. |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:none
Pros:80+, Quiet, no LEDs Comment:
Installed in a Silverstone Lascala LC17B HTPC case. Cables had no problem reaching the necessary sockets in the MB, disks, etc. Fan is quieter than the case fans. While building my HTPC it would occasionally not power on at all and usually unplugging / replugging fixed the problem, but I was not able to diagnose if this was a PS related issue or something else. Haven't had any problems for 4 weeks that it's been up and running. |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:Worked excellently until I installed another fan for my Antec 902. Powered on and I hear a loud "POP!" with a flash of light from inside my PSU. I pull it out and look inside and there's a whole bunch of white goo coming out of some of the parts inside the PSU. Definetly not putting this back into my machine. Now, I have to wait a week or two for a replacement, and I don't even know if my other components are okay. The fans and stuff didn't turn on, I didn't see any smoke and none of the connectors are burnt, so it's a good sign so far.
Pros:RATING SHOULD BE 1 STAR.Worked well, while it did. Comment:

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:Power cables seem a bit short.
Pros:Does the trick. Fan is not noisy. Comment:
Generally happy with this PS. Weekly deal + MIR + 80Plus rating made this a no brainer choice. Only complaint is that the power cables seem a bit short and had to run across components of mobo to plug in 12V 4-pin and others. PS mounted at the bottom in CoolerMaster HAF 922. However, I have nothing to compare to, so it may be the case with most PS units. Not sure if I would have reached some connectors if I was using a full tower case though... |

Great Purchase

Very Easy to install with many power different power connections. Very well made and wires are very neatly wrapped to keep inside of PC organized. Runs nearly silently and keeps PC cool inside case. Would recommend to all. |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:MIR.
Pros:80+ silver.Quiet.$40 after MIR. Comment:
I bought this power supply for my computer, since the power supply is getting noisy and it doesn't have the 80+ on it. So I decide to get this power supply. It is very quiet and enough cables on it. Very stable for the output voltage. For only $40, it a great choise. |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:All Sata connectors on one line - only 4 available with 6 Sata ports on my system board.
Pros:Good looking, low noise, closed loom wiring Comment:
I've been building systems for over 10 years and the ongoing improvements in components never fail to amaze me, even now. This power supply is very nicely built and although long term life remains to be determined.Power stability seems good with all tests that I've run. As with any complex electronics providing quality power input makes it easier to get good output. This unit was as easy to install as any power supply can be, and I was impressed with the fit and finish - With the rebate it is a super value.. regular price is above average |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:12+V, My Corsair PSU seems to run much better
Pros:It's quiet, and it has a nice black finish Comment:
At first this PSU seems somewhat faulty, it's been running a day fine now but afterall the price i paid for it seems fair to the product i got.. I would recommend on buying Corsairs as they seem to be more reliable. |

OCZ Z-Series OCZZ550 550W Power Supply Compatible with Intel Core i7
Cons:Too bad can't find any
Pros:Very quiet, do the job, lot of cables =) Comment:
Installing this PSU was so easy, this is the first PSU I've installed myself and I'm glad I've picked OCZ. Will this PSU run SLI/Crossfire I don't know yet =( |
Pop the Power Supply in plugged everything in and worked on the first go, mind you it wasn't powering a lot of devices. For quality i would have to say this OCZ is prime for the price than any other cheapy PSU out there under 500 watts, ie bundle system builds for under $400-$500. Cant name any cheapy PSU's companies but they know who they are :P.-1 star cause (PCP&C) the best.
