I really like these cables that OKGEAR puts out. 18" is best for my DVD Drive to the motherboard and it assists to make clean cable management and increase airflow. UV reactive is also nice. I got a defective one, and at ũ.99, it's not worth RMA'ing. My DVD Drive acted actually weird where BIOS wouldn't recognize it, the light flickered, and the drive wouldn't open. I swapped it out with my old 24" OKGEAR (that's WAY also long) and that solved the concern. This is like the 10th OKGEAR cable I've bought from them and the 1st to be defective. Right now they're batting 90% and I assume this one particular defective cable is a rarity. I love these cables they're producing, hopefully this genuinely is just a 1 time occurrence.

Bought four of these for Evga 750i For the Win (matched the board) and I believed they would look cool in my Antec 900 Wouldn’t you know it – these cables are larger than usual on the ends. They would not fit adequately into Sata ports and I ended up breaking one of my ports. The cables that came with 750i fit just fine well thanx to glue and electrical tape I seem to have remedied the difficulty ( guess I did get the For the Win anyway). I can not recommend this product, mainly because I feel the size of all Sata ports are regular – good luck if you come to a decision to go for it.

I have blue LEDS in my laptop or computer case and these cables appear like they are UV-sensitive. Has a nice green glow. :) none genuinely. the cables snapped suitable in place.

These cables seem of great quality. They appear great and hold steady as soon as in location. connector heads are a bit larger than regular SATA cables due to their clipping mechanism. shouldn't be a challenge most of the time, but could make fitting in your SATA power tough if it also has a larger than typical design.

Works excellent in my system. I have two connected to both SATA and SAS devices, works as expected. None. Clips really feel sturdy and don't get in the way.

Work's good. The proper angle is nice and assists to maintain points good and organized. for my case the proper angle was "backwards". Not genuinely a enormous con just an annoyance It's Green! :D

Operates fine, though the cable seems unnecessarily stiff as other reviewers state. Pre-bend the cable to take the strain off connectors. This can be carried out following installation - just add a gentle kink. The appropriate angle connector enables neat wiring (see below). The locking clips can be hard to reach in tight places, but they do perform nicely to stop pulled SATA plugs. Proper Angle: 1 end is proper angle. Installed on a disk drive (DVD or challenging disk), the proper angle connector will aim the cable toward the bottom of the disk. Installed on an ASUS P5K-E motherboard, the appropriate angle connector will aim the cable toward the front of the PC. Pick which destination gets the suitable angle connector based on your components... rather versatile.

Functions nicely, as advertised. To me locking cable ends are a "must" and these cables operate rather properly. None The green color makes tracing cable paths uncomplicated because I use SATA difficult drives and optical drives exclusively.

They appear nice, and the right angle does specifically what it's supposed to in my case. When I had my Antec 900 it was a little cramped so the RA came in handy. Now with my 1200 it's not an concern, but it's secure none the less. cable is genuinely nice and colorful. I like the metal latch, does a great job of keeping the drive plugged in, small hard to get disconnected, but I have big fingers. shipping expense as significantly as the cable.

Good working cable, purchased three of these. Required at least 1 straight end for Motherboard. Metal clips make detaching ends from drives less difficult. Additional hard to detach from motherboard with four sata cables plugged in. None

This assessment is for the OKGEAR 18" SATA II Cable Model GC18AUGM12 - Retail, 1 rght angle and 1 straight, metal latches on each. Yeah, it is green.Works. None. does what it advertises Had to break the latch off mainly because the way the sata port is produced on my motherboard the latch gets in the way, and just FYI, it is feasible to take away the latch but you have to be cautious becasue it is a strong piece of metal that won't bend very easily and if you yank it too difficult you can break the plastic that holds the cable inside.Subsequent time I get a cable with out any latches.
