OKGEAR 18" Straight To Straight W/ Metal Latch SATA 3.0 Cable
Comment:
none The shielding/plastic cover of the cable has pulled out of the plug - quite poor high quality. Also, it is a stiff cable that is not as effortless to route in your case like a flat cable is. Does not bend simply. I would go with a flat cable, not the round ones - much easier to route in your case |

Good hunting cable... I'm going for a blue theme with my situation (Blue LEDs in RAM, fans, and so forth) so it tends to make a fine addition to my computer. The cables function just fine. As talked about just before, the rounded ends does make a excellent concern to those who have a motherboard (mine is a ASUS P6T SE) that have SATA ports double stacked. The cables Cannot fit straight on the ports and it produced me wonder if this would wreck the SATA ports. But like I mentioned in the Pros, the cables perform just fine. Decide on a diverse item, individuals... these rounded ends are not a good design. Additional digging into reviews will discover that other folks have elected to attempt working with a knife on the rounded ends to assist make them match greater. So if you're feeling brave, very good luck with that... I figure it's worth a shot. |

Great cable, rapid transfer rates, perfectly complements my Intel X-25 80GB SSD Round cable, not as flexible as flat cables |

looked wonderful beneath a uv light... extra reactive. i only required a 12" uv cold cathode behind it to get both sides to react. most likely due to the semi transparency of the cable covering so the uv can penetrate by means of to the front side. none not genuinely a con but if your hdd cage is close to the mb connector you might want to look someplace for a shorter cable or use a unique option. i had to loop the cable like [MB] _O_ [SATA] and use a zip tie so it didnt look sloppy. but im still fully satisfying with this cable and will be one more if i get an further hdd |

Works alright. the retaining clip wont fit in most mobo, have to pull it off and trim the end with a knife. One of them died cuz the end of it is fragile and bent some when I modified it and had to throw it away. |

Nice round style of the cable itself. Blue color. Flexible enough for my requires. None I can see. I have an Asus P6x58D Premium board and it snaps in the 6gb port just fine for me. Snaps in the SSD drive nice and securly as well. |

Metal latch! It worked! It was low cost! It also attractively matched my glorious color scheme! (that nobody can see!) sata three! Fried eggs and bacon didnt magically come with it. Its a cable, it worked, it had metal latches (ooh aah) whatever! its worth it and its amazing. |
Sturdy cable. Metal latch on plug makes a extremely tight fit on motherboards like the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 with dual SATA ports (two ports molded collectively).
