Functions, rapid. On an old 500 GB western digital mybook I get about 60 MB/s. None Prior to you give up thinking that it does not perform, make positive you have enabled AHCI on your motherboard. Also, windows will give you the blue screen of death if you did not install it with AHCI enabled. Nevertheless, you can modify the registry if you did not install windows with it enabled. |

Works just like it must with an Apevia eSata bracket and an IcyDock external enclosure. Cables match correctly on each ends. None however after running half a Tb of information via it. How really hard is it to get a cable correct? Fairly d*mn really hard apparently judging from other cable testimonials here. |

It performs, it's a cable, it lets me connect my eSATA drive to the back plane on my Pc, it's reasonably flexible, and it was inexpensive. It also doesn't exceed the eSATA specification.(As would the length of internal cable to the backplane plus a 6ft cable.) No cons. The shipping was a tiny questionable, I didn't have any challenge with a bubble wrap envelope as an alternative of a box, but the twist tie dug into the rubber for the duration of shipping.(I assume due to the fact the envelope got squished.)Mine nevertheless worked fine, but beware when ordering this by itself. |

Properly constructed, not a flimsy cable. Performs perfectly for an external challenging drive, just be careful: this is eSATA to eSATA, make confident that's what you need. None. |

I consider the magic is somehow connected to some new superconductive / low capacitance transport material. My drive suddenly sped up to anything more than 20K RPM, and the cache grew to 512 MG all on its personal! Not only that, my CPU temp dropped by 120 F degrees. Did I mention my keyboard and mouse became telepathic? Truly, this is a simply awesome product and tremendous technical advance. Get one particular or a lot more for your good friends as well! I didn't know about this twenty years ago! |

Arrived intact. Quickly delivery. Affordable. Did not perform nicely for me. Employing it with an Asus G60Jx laptop and an Antec X-25 external case I couldn't get it to perform reliably. At times, it worked, sometimes not. I believed it was drivers or possibly one thing in computer software.Immediately after a few days I was digging around some old stuff discovered an unused eSata I got with a Thermaltake dock. I swapped the cable and bingo, the external drive worked every single time and transfer speeds doubled to over 150mbs. Maybe I just got a negative one. I might RMA it, but then for five bucks, perhaps not. |

Got this to go with an external drive to take on the road in Europe for 4 months of traveling. Primary factor I wanted was a cable flexible adequate to be portable and endure repeated bending/use, and this has worked nicely. No severe flaws! Me like cable. |
