I needed a new multi function printer that would support a small home network to replace my old inkjet printer.I don't print that often, so I wanted to go for a laser printer to avoid the typical dried ink problem inkjet printers are affected byAttracted by the special price (150$) I decided to give it a try, even though I was a little scared by the configuration issues many people seem to haveIn my case I did not meet any problem, just installed the drivers from OKI siteNetwork installation was very simple, no need to touch any settings, printer was reachable as soon as I connected to my routerPrinting quality is obviously not as good as my old inkjet printer, but it's more than acceptableprint/scan to USB key is a nice featurethe only real defect I can find is the lack of duplex printing without buying optional moduleprinter is also noisy, but you can change power saving settings to minimize this issue (when in sleep mode printer is silent and can wake up in seconds so it's not a big deal for me)toner seems to be expensive, but you can find compatible ones on internet for a fraction of the original price |

Cons:Difficult and unintuitive to setup, defaults to a4 paper size, GDI based, even though networkable sort of. Does not work in linux, at least not via the network. Printer is loud and takes forever to go quiet.

This machine took a couple of days to setup. The driver installation was hard to figure out. I should have done my homework before purchasing this device. Buyers remorse? You bet!! |

I'm amazed by the value. Every printer comes with starting toner that's every manufacturer and any printer. So no surprise that I had to get a set of toners. But the price of the printer and what you get is unreal. Oki has always been known for their quality, that's why they stand behind their product with one year over night exchange policy. That means I don't have to wait for weeks for my printer to get fixed, I just get a new one. I called their Help desk 24/7 365, the tech guy was amazing he told me that all their tech supports are Oki employees in NJ, they don't contract out their tech support to a company that represents 20 other brands. he was knowledgeable and walked me through the scanning software. I love a company that stands behind their products, and wants the customer to feel good and at ease. Try it |

The toner lasts a lot longer over ink in an inkjet printer. That being said toner for this printer is very expensive, The toner costs more then the printer. You can however find websites that sell toner refills for all colors that cost the price for 1 new toner cartridge. If you do refill the printer yourself it would make it a very cheap, decent color Multi-Funtion Printer to use and own, and it very nice colour for printing. |

For $99.99, you can not beat this multi function laser color printer. Set up was easy but window 7 64 bit missed one driver but easily fixed by going to device manager and have that unknown device pointed to your drivers folder.Print quality is great and scanning is fine. Fax is fine and maybe now is the time that I retire my fax modem.It is noisey when doing nothing but for the price..there has to be something.Toner replacement price at ebay is not bad. Great buy if you can get it cheap, should wait till Christmas since I suspect this printer may drop to $69.99 before it finally phased out.
