I'm enjoying my new camera and finding out what it can do. It's great for close ups and portraits. It's a bit heavier than I expected and you do have to wait awhile between shots. Nice and small though so can be used without attracting a lot of notice and you can still get great shots!

One question for you all: where can I get an adaptor if I go out of the state, e.g. India or China? any suggestions?

Unbelievable features in a camera for this price! As a realtor I really love the wide angle for taking tight shots of rooms. Great picture quality for the web and if you use the high resolution modes than you can make some really decent prints. Yeah it's not as fast as my sons Canon T2i but it's light and not too big or too small and just fine for everyday use. In auto mode it takes better pictures than I can all by itself! The SD card capabilty means you can have 1000's of shots of your vacation at a very reasonable cost, just don't invite me over to watch them all......

Tonnes of features, can be a bit overwhelming at first but not in the least dissappointed. Excellent zoom, great quality photos and overall construction of the camera. Olympus has always been an excellent name brand in photography and has lived up to its name with this model.

This is no beginner camera. LOTS of options, takes ahile to figure out this thing. It's heavier than most point and shoots. And yes, it STILL stictches 3 pictures together for panorama. GREAT zoom on this one. Do not like how the zoom lever is place, a bit awkward.

I absolutely love that the camera has it's own brain and focuses it for you and tells you what setting this picture would be taken in.

While I am not a camera expert, after getting this camera, it made it easy to take great pictures. Instructions were easy to understand. Even for a rookie camera operator like me, I took great pictures right out of the box. The amount of Optical zoom for the money also helped me decide that this was the camera for me.

I bought one for myself and it turned out to be pretty good. The only problem I had which really isn't a huge problem is it takes about 5-8 second wait between pictures. Other than that, it's an awesome camera for the price!

Camera is simple to operate takes great pictures and has a good zoom. I was disapointed it does not charge the internal battery while plugged into the USB port so you have to have a seperate cherger.

great camera with a great deal and free and fast shipping. I love the lithium battery, it has lasted much longer than regular batteries and is rechargable.

Up-grade from my 3 megapixels Fugi. Took awhile to explore all the features. The SCN function has all the automatic special settings you will need. I like the larger lithium battery as the 2 AA batteries in the Fugi did not last long. Called Olympus tech service & they were very helpful with my formating question. Buy it -you will like it !!

It met my expectations in every way except one. It has a lot of difficulty focussing on faces about 4-6 feet away. When the shutter is pressed half-way, you can see the face come into focus and immediately go out of focus. Very frustrating, as there is no manual focus.

The size of camera let you take it everywhere. It's my third Olympus camera and it always a better one than the last. It's easy to use and the zoom is excellent. We love it and my wife begin to take more photos now.

Ready to take a picture just a couple of seconds after turning power on. Ready just as fast after taking flash pictures as well.

I used the camera for all of my Xmas pictures. Hugely satisfied with both the camera and ease of downloading. This camera is loaded with features and I believe recycles very quickly on flash pictures. I love the self timer on the bottom back button because I can put our family in front and set the timer without turning the camera around. Nice!

I am so excited about this camera. It lives up to my expectations. Most importantly, it takes wonderful clear pictures. It seemed a little complicated to use at first, but after 10 minutes of playing with it, I figured it out. Setting options are great, but I found that auto setting is perfect 99% of the time. The only negative I have found is the time between taking shots. It takes a few seconds, so you may lose the perfect shot. However, we love this camera!
