Bought this because it was $10 on sale (but ended up waiting for a month for the stock...) I run an E6600 and 8800GTS on a Corsair HX520W, and this unit powers my rig and my LCD monitor no problem. When I unplug the power, the power level drops to about 50%. When there's a power failure, the software can send email or pager to notify you. My only complain is that it uses serial port and not USB, but then it's not that bad because nothing else uses serial port so I finally have some use for it. Great unit. |

Pros:Nice monitoring software, lots of backup time. Comment:
A nice unit. Tested the backup power on a Sempron 2500+ with a ATI X700 and a 17 in LCD monitor, router, and internet modem. Immediately on power disconnect power reserve dropped to only 53%!! I repowered after 4 minutes, and at that point it was reporting 50% reserve power, so it does seem to have adequate reserves.Monitoring software has nice graphs. Only 2 outlets is it main limitation. |

The UPS was a great bargain, it powers my Q6600 + 22" LCD for about 5 minutes before shutting down. The provided software is oh so ancient but it does the job and provides adequate diagnostics and logging. Would have even considered purchasing at list price. |

i use it on my comp and stereo amp. The sound is a bit clearer cause of the voltage regulator surprisingly. good cheap way to get a voltage regulator. lots of options in the software |

The bundled software works pretty well with some neat features like sending alert emails and also text messages to my cell phone. I can also monitor the status with IE through a IP address. It is worth the investment to back up my personal computer and 1 LCD. |

Ce petit UPS a une capacité suffisante pour alimenté la majorité des systèmes actuels sur le marché et peut être utilisé pour pleins d'autres applications. Sa fabrication est assez bonne compte tenus du prix payé. C'est certain que ce n'est probablement pas la même qualité que les UPS de la marque APC (j'en ai un pour mon système principal) mais pour le prix payé c'est un très bon achat. This is a nice little UPS that will fit somewhere out of the way. It looks well built and has some pretty good mass to it. I have it running a small backup system and it was able to run it for 10 minutes until I got bored and plugged it back in. There's only 2 outlets on the back which is OK I guess since this unit is low powered. You could always hook up a power bar if you have a bunch of little stuff that needs a UPS. Also beware that this unit connects to your PC via a serial cable and some newer MB's don't have a serial port anymore. You have to install a serial PCI card or use a serial to USB adapter.
