OPTI-UPS Thunder Shield TS1250B Black UPS
Cons:n/a
Pros:Fast charging time Comment:
This UPS probably has the faster charger. We've had a power outage early one morning and another one in the afternoon. Double whammy! In both instances this UPS was able to protect my computer, allowing me to save the document I was working on. For a small sized UPS like this, it is delivers big! |

I installed one of these UPS for my home security system. You can never tell when the power would go off and I want to be sure that my home is fully protected. This product is very reasonably priced and is very reliable. |

OPTI-UPS Thunder Shield TS1250B Black UPS
Cons:Could have more battery backup outlets...
Pros:lot of connectors Comment:
This UPS will take care of any voltage sags or spikes and quickly switches to battery power if needed is a speedy 4ms. 1100VA is quite a bit of capacity at this price and the user replaceable battery makes it even better. |
I bought this because I have four computers and sometimes I have them all on at the same time. I already have 2 APC UPS. One a 500VA and the other 1300VA. I had two of my high end computers connected to the 1300VA but it seemed it was too much for that one UPS. So I bought this one because it was inexpensive. Although it seems to be a good backup I am not happy with the software provided. It doesn't seem to work. Even the latest version off their website. So in the event of a power failure, I'm pretty confident it will keep my computer running. However, I will probably have to be around to shut it off manually.
