Olympus 2GB XD Card Type M
Cons:None at the moment for the product itself.. not a big fan of having to support another standard of storage (on top of SD, CF, MS, etc.)

Pros:Good value when it is on sale
Comment:
I picked up this card while it was on sale for my Olympus Stylus 1010. The camera originally came with a microSD to xD reader that could be used in the camera, but the panorama functionality was not enabled. With this xD card, I can now use that function.

Olympus 2GB XD Card Type M
Cons:Slower and, even when on sale, more expensive than sD cards.

Pros:Works fine with my Fujifilm Finepix F30. Faster than regular "M" cards. Official Olympus product, not a generic card.
Comment:
Worth the $18.99 sale price. Not worth NCIX.com's regular price of $32.31. If your camera won't take sD cards, these are the ones to get--if you can get the sale price.

Olympus 2GB XD Card Type M
Cons:2 gb seems to be maximum size in XD cardsXD cards only useful on olympus cameras

Pros:Low priceM+ High speed
Comment:
Bought this for my olympus stylus 780 to store more pictures. It's faster than my old fuji xd card and it also enables panoramic mode as well as 640*480 video.

Pros:High Speed cardgood price (God luv pricematching ;p )
Comment:
...so I got this card for my girl for Xmas to go with her Olympus camera, since they work best together...sure, the price is a bit higher than other generic cards, but you get what you pay for and this card works great in her camera, and that's what matters...;p

Olympus 2GB XD Card Type M
Cons:Expensive compared to the price of micro sd. Size is limited to 2gb at the moment. The "special features" that you get with the Olympus branded type M+ xD cards are annoying money-grabbing scheme courtesy of Olympus. Still slow compared to the speed of some micro sd cards and costs WAY more.

Pros:Decent storage capacity. Unlocks certain "special features" on my Olympus Stylus 1030SW that type M xd cards or micro sd cards cannot use. Faster than the older type M xd cards.
Comment:
Olympus has a history of disabling some features on their cameras (notably panoramic shot) unless you buy their more expensive, Olympus branded memory card. And the only difference between the Olympus branded card and other cheaper brands is a line of code that identifies the card as Olympus. This money-grabbing scheme is annoying and down-right pathetic. On my Olympus Stylus 1030sw, the type M+ xD card (and type H card which is getting harder to find) enables capturing movies at a frame rate of 30fps instead of the pedestrian 15fps (with updated firmware). While a micro sd card can theoretically save the data faster, it's limited to only 15 fps. Oh, and it enables panoramic shot which you can manually compose on your computer. In the end, I bought this memory card reluctantly knowing I am being ripped off by Olympus but the ability to record movies at 30fps and the convenience of composing panoramic photos on the camera won the debate. Your preference may vary.

I purchase this card together with my new camera Olympus and I`m very pleased, lots of room very fast and rilable. nothing to complain at all. i highly reccomend to get this one if you take many pictures. For example at 8.0MP over 870pics or over 30min of AVI movie mode uncompressed.CheersMarco
