I got this for my trip backpacking Europe. I was very disappointed at the image quality. My cousins $100 Cannon took much nicer pictures. The camera is very slow to take a photo. We'd sometimes have one person take pictures and quite a few people just said "this camera sucks" because it would be taking so long. For sure missed some good photos because camera was too late. Also once in a while all images would be fuzy. Only way to fix it was to reset camera to defaults. |
If your clumsy and drop things often then this camera is for you. If your outdoors a lot and like to take photos in the rain, then this camera is for you. I like the fact that I don't have to worry about drop ping this camera by accident. My dad bought a Canon PowerShot SX200IS. The first week, he drop ped it from his waist and it broke... Accident's happen, so if you want a dependable, versitile, easy to use camera, then I would recommend this camera.
