overall this was a great system for the price. i upgraded from a htib and paired these with a yamaha rx-v671 avr. the difference in sound quality is phenomenal. also the money i saved on these ($299, seen them more recently for $249) allowed me to buy a really great receiver and still be well under $800 total. (got a great deal on the receiver too)i realize its not quite on par with custom setups but for an all in one you cant beat it and the price is right for beginner audiophiles like myself.
