I am a contractor in Afghanistan and i fly around helicopters constantly around the country.I bought this gadget and i wear body armor. The very first time i got onto a helicopter the screen cracked when it hit my body armor. The antenna is also not that good inside vehicles. I like the Grmin 60CSx that is a good handheld unit rugged and the antenna works inside helicopters and vehicles. They should not market it as rugged if It cracks the screen on my first day with normal use. I recommend this for like camping with your girlfriend in the woods .... maybe... its not rugged enough for me obviously... i dont think they should market it as

Functional but don't recommend. Better products on the market - specifically the Lowrance line.
