This is a very nice monitor and setup was very easy, without any problems at all. I originally had it hooked up with the VGA connection but now I'm running a DVI connection and using the VGA for a second monitor. Performance was pretty much the same with either cable. The only negative is the stand, which is not adjustable and is a little flimsy. When I push to turn the power off, the whole monitor moves since the stand is too flexible. As well, it's not possible to mount the monitor vertically with this stand. Otherwise, image and color is good and the size makes it easy to have multiple windows open at once.

I received my monitor only two days after purchasing it, and after only minutes i had it set up and working brilliantly with the VGA port hooked up to my computer and the HDMI cord running to a DVD player. The quality of picture with both is top notch and the 1920x1080 resolution allows me to fully utilize my destop. For the cost to quality ratio, a great buy i'm sure i will enjoy for years to come.

Quick ship within 2 days. Monitor is great. no problems. Have HDMI cable looks fantastic. Only complaint is that I cant figure out how to get the sound off my monitor and back to my regular speakers. Seems HDMI runs everything through the monitor

Better deal than any where, The item arrived in mail within 2 days of its shipment, no complains, make sure using a dvi or HDMI rather than vga, also a graphic card ( From here, I bought EVGA 01G-P3-N959-TR GeForce 9500 GT Video Card )makes a huge difference in picture quality, but on behalf of the screen, I believe this is one of the best deals you can get!!

Not disappointed whatsoever. I only wish the site was more descriptive so i wouldnt have had to do so much research. Things i would have liked to know: -has HDMI input and automatically imports audio -does not have audio output (no headphones) -works great with xbox 360 -very easy interface works easily with both mac and vista I highly suggest this monitor, extremely reasonable price for a very good quality screen.

I've been using this monitor for a weeks now and I have no complaints. This is the first Philips monitor I've purchased, and I'm very happy with it. Bright colour great picture and it even has speakers build in, so it is great for video games. HDMI,VGA and DVI inputs what more could you ask. Free shipping was an added bonus.

I am very happy with the quality of the display. Only down side is the base, it's not very adjustable. I am not using the audio so I can't comment on the sound quality.

Bought this one after looking at many brands and reviews. This monitor has an excellent image quality for the use I make of it (CAD 3D modeling), it was easy to install and was delivered the day after ordering. The sound of the integrated speakers is poor but I cannot complain at this price and it is not the main purpose of a monitor. A vertical adjustment would have been great too.

Awesome Price Feb 2010 $199 its worth it. 4 year warranty is cool, auto button configures everything in seconds, speakers work well, my stand seems strong. I will definitely recommend Philips to everyone!

I think the headline says it all. This is my first HD monitor and I couldn't be more satisfied. Kudos to Phillips for such high quality. The base could be a little stronger though.

bought this for 199, and i have to say the quality is amazing. haven't had any problems aside from loss of sound when my resolution changes, but that may be on the video card end of things. you won't find anything better for this price

I purchased one of these units but it came faulty. It will turn on for a bit and turned itself off. The only way to turn it on again was to unplug from the wall and plug it back. Then it did it again in minutes. Very embarassing in front of clients. I sent it back, but they would not give me full refund, claiming there was no problem. But they refused to talk to me how they test it, so I lost about 75.00 in total for this faulty unit. I purchase another one, same model. It is worse. It would not turn on at all no matter what you do to it. I returned it again, and embracing another ding of 75.00 of lost. They might say there is no problem, and refuse my claim. But they do not let you talk to them. I then purchase a Samsung model, cheapest version, and it worked like magic. been on for days, never a problem. May be it is my luck, but I will stay away from this make. It was disappointing, money loosing, time consuming, and frustrating.
