This is a great DVD burner -- performance is excellent and the style is super. No problems with installing or using. I needed a drive to load software on my netbook,etc. Could have bought a less expensive one; but, I am so happy I decided on the Plextor. It is well constructed, performs well, small, light, and looks good, too! What more can you ask for . . .

I bought this burner because I knew that it was the best product that I could find on the market. All my burners are PLEXTOR. I thought because it was USB that it would be hot after 2 or 3 cd's or dvd's but it was still cold like if it didn't burn anything. I was sceptic I verified if there was something burned on it because it always become hot when it works like that. I was very happy that it did the job perfectly without getting hot. WOW! What a good product. It comes with a little bag that is very good thing. Best buy, I can tell. Don't miss it you couldn't find anything better on the market.

I've owned this product for over a month now, and have loved it very much. I've enjoyed Plextor's quality products over the years, replacing my old external 704 burner with this 610 was a great upgrade. Love that its powered by a single port usb plug! DEFINITE PLUS! wish it came with a hard shell case instead of a soft cloth case - finish is too fancy - make this thing more rugged next time... because its so ultra portable expect it to be jolted - can cause burn errors and issues.

this work great and very lite to ,i buy the new hp 2140 hd 1366 x 768 and i used it with the power usb and it works great remember charge it with the usb first with the netbook like 4 hours before using it., and remember you can use it with mac or windows that great !!!!!!!!!
