Value Poor high quality manage? I got two sets. I place one set into a Dell OptiPlex 330 and it wouldn't boot. Place in the second set and it booted fine. RMA'd the one particular set back to Newegg. The Dell method worked for 3 months with the new memory, then got BSOD. Replaced the memory with the second PNY set and it's working once again - for now... Newegg's RMA service for the very first set was wonderful! Considering that the second set failed outdoors of Newegg's 30-day return policy, I'm RMA'ing that set back to PNY. |

Only 30 bucks for 2 gigs of RAM! I was stupid and forgot that i was 32bit vista... so it genuinely didn't boast my performance a lot. would be great if they came with heat sinks even though.... |

It was inexpensive I received this RAM in a sealed package. The 2 sticks did not even match. I believed that getting a DUAL CHANNEL KIT meant 2 matching sticks of RAM. Apparently PNY does not agree with that. THe PCB is different, and the chips are different. 1 DIMMis single sided, and the other is dual sided. 1 has PNY chips and was produced in Taiwan, whilst the other is ELIXIR produced in China. Not specifically a DUAL CHANNEL KIT. You can forget about selling me anyomore PNY... |

Good name, excellent price tag, functions properly. See other thoughts. I ordered two of these. 1st point I noticed when I opened the package is that the aluminum heat spreader is not present. Ok, not that big of a deal, I can live with it. Next, I plug the memory in. Technique reports no key memory. Not a single stick, but all 4 sticks were poor. Return policy was easy enough. Newegg did a very good job in helping me out. The new memory works effectively, but the heat spreaders are still missing. Why is this? |

Had a cost-free film download..quick shipping and excellent assistance from Newegg as always.. First package..1 stick worked on a Dell Inspiron 530..a single didn't..had to RMA..second package..sticks were crossed and touching each and every other in the package..neither would post..Newegg was wonderful and sent out another but strike three..both would post but artifacts were evident on the post screen and computer locked up..using common non Dell ram now @ 533Mhz..667Mhz ought to be fine in a slower process you would assume..shipping back for a refund.. Newegg rocks..this memory doesn't..at least not on a Dell Inspiron 530..(client comp not mine!)..thats why I create my personal rather of employing Proprietary junk..gonna attempt some DDR2 800 to see if it fixes the dilemma.. |

Runs cool, and I have not had any issues in memtest. In no way been let down by PNY. None that I have encountered. I have had this memory for three months and I am currently upgrading to 4gb of 800mhz ddr2 mainly due to the fact vista 64-bit eats 2gb quite speedily.
