PNY GeForce GT 240 VCGGT2405G5XEB Video Card
Cons: None

Pros: Good performanceLower budget
Comment:
This GT 240 is a lower budget graphic card, it works good on lower settings games, and perfectly matches with Windows 7.

PNY GeForce GT 240 VCGGT2405G5XEB Video Card
Cons: Not a real gaming card.

Pros: Quiet, cool, VDPAU feature set C, length-height, GDDR5, no PCIe power req'd
Comment:
Great card that replaced a hotter, noiser 8800GT. Ideal for HTPC or lighter gaming (WoW). For just over $60 after rebate you can't go wrong if you know what your uses are.

PNY GeForce GT 240 VCGGT2405G5XEB Video Card
Cons: Not likely as powerful as a GT250/GT260Fan can be a bit loud when running with heavy graphics settingsBundled digital download of PowerDirector HE is feature-limited and cannot burn DVD/BD discs

Pros: Single slot height. Low power consumption. DOES NOT require an additional power connector
Comment:
Not likely as powerful as a GT250/GT260 or above, but it does fill the niche of lower-consumption, single-slot cards. It's the only GDDR5 GT240 that I've found that doesn't seem to need extra fan-clearance above the slot too. Nice for an HTPC, even works on an (efficiency-rated) 300W power supply. My shuttle's built-in NVidia chipset even in 800x600 resolution (other games ran fine at 1024 or 1280+ res with higher FX/AA), but lagged horribly on AVP3. Added this card - which is one of the few that would fit - and it runs nicely indeed at 2xAA and 1600x900I took the risk against getting an older but powerful 9800GT... and it looks like this card is coming out quite nicely thus far. GDDR5 makes a big difference as well, I only wish there was a 1GB version, but perhaps that will come in the future. Not for the hardcore gamers that need full resolution on multiple screens, but very nicer for the semi-dedicated like myself who wants a good but affordable card.
