PNY GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) VCGGTX580XPB Video Card
Comment:
Excellent frame rates. Improvement from two 5770 in crossfire. Runs cool and quiet for what it is. Worked for two days, then began showing flickering artifacts all over screen, even at boot screen. Returning and have to wait for a new one. The video card is fantastic, but I would not acquire a pny product again. Their warranty sticker, the 1 that says "removal voids warranty" fell off when I took it out of the box. |

PNY GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) VCGGTX580XPB Video Card
Cons:Runs about 75c on Ultra for BF3.The driver had some issues
Pros:Can play BF3 On ultraGreat resultsVery quiet compared to my Asus 5870 HDLifetime warranty. Comment:
This is one of the best cards I have had so far to history. I cannot imagine what the 680 would be like but this one is goddamn hot when it runs games like BF3 on Ultra. Make sure you have a good ventilated computer case. |

I have to say coming from a GTX260, huge distinction in FPS and high quality. I had my mouth drop a few occasions playing BFBC2. The dx11 looks amazing. I highly suggest this to anyone coming from a 200 series from nvidia. I also have it running to my receiver out to my 40in tv, and it sounds fanaminal:) None I sold my asus hd audio card and 260 to replace this. |

Let me clear up some of these informative critiques. Yes this is a reference card, so yes, the silicon is the same. BUT (and this is a large but) the heatsinks are proprietary. Any techie worth his salt knows that the heatsink is a essential element of the device. Any evaluation saying that reference gpus produced by different businesses are all the very same ought to be definitely disregarded. It is an utter fallacy. Cease spreading misinformation if you clearly dont know what you are talking about. |

GTX 580 - crank up the eye candy. 2D and video artifacting hours soon after 3 weeks of very good gaming. VRAM dying. Had to return the card. Have an additional maker's card in there now with no probs and fingers crossed. Most likely lower excellent memory chips on the PNY? Hope I have superior luck with MSI. |

PNY GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) VCGGTX580XPB Video Card
Comment:
it presents excellent frame rates... no deny about that, the most potent single card out there, but... the cost is ridiculous, thats why i got 3 eggs off, with less dollars you can go ahead and crossfire 6850's and get the same and in alot of the games even much more efficiency and far better framerates, and you save like 200 bucks....i had the card for a week, i just ended up returning it and receiving a cf, altough... im not a fanboy... cf has his drawbacks and they are not too pleasant, still, i rather have that, and nicely not dimension eyefinity :D once again this video card is not poor, is just seriously expensive and atleast for me it just doesnt justify. |

- Runs Really quiet- Cool- Really fast None so far I upgraded to this from a GTX 280 and am amazed at the distinction. I use to run Crysis at 1600x1200 no aa and get an acceceptable framerate. With the 580 I run it at 1920x1200 4xaa and get WAY greater framerates than just before. It's actually too poor that it took a refresh of the GTX 480 to get it correct. But it is amazing!Windows 7 Ultimatei7 950six Gigabytes RAMWD 500GB HDD's |

I went from xfire 5870s to this GTX 580 and am really pleased,it runs significantly cooler, quieter and way smoother than xfire did..and much superior fps in the games I use.As an AMD fan it was challenging to switch but glad I did.As usual NewEgg ROCKS None I am somewhat confused at the warranty,it says 3 years here but on the box it says limited lifetime with registration.Hope this is the case. And reading GPHISH remarks it makes me really feel fantastic I got this brand. |

This card ROCKs..BUT.. But one factor I am extremely displeased with is the sticker on the card..I took it out to clean the dust out as I do just about every two weeks and noticed the sticker is all bubbled up..there is no way to smooth it out and it definitely makes it look terrible..I will get in touch with PNY for a replacement sticker,if I get no satisfaction I will contact NewEgg.. 1 factor also..You men and women bashing PNY trigger the card quit operating or you feel it quit working will need to know..THESE ARE REFERENCE CARDS,THERE ALL THE Same..EVGA,PNY,GIGABYTE all the same just a diverse sticker on each and every..And you say your tech level is HIGH? |

PNY GeForce GTX 580 (Fermi) VCGGTX580XPB Video Card
Cons:High price
Pros:Very Strong CardLIFETIME WARRANTY Comment:
It's worth to buy it only when on special with a mail-reduction. I replaced my two 5750 crossfire for this one. I personally had a bad experience with AMD drivers products, that is the main reason why I took GTX580 instead of HD6970. I recommend to anyone who is planning to change GPU. The other reason was also for BF3.I think I should be able to play everything on High with the PNY GTX580 when the game will come out. :) |

I wanted a video card to easily do my video editing task (2d) and also to be able to play the latests games... The new GF110 is a pretty strong gpu. Everything runs smoothly, quietly. |

Cons:
None
Pros: FastCoolQuiet Comment:
Went from a 480's SLI to this and i don't even feel the need to buy another one. The GF110 is an awesome improvement especially considering its been done without any die shrink...Bravo nVidia |
-Runs cooler than I expected-Same size as my GTX 280 ྪ.five Inch)-Overclocked considerably greater than I expected -No OCing tool and boring bundled software program (just demos)-Seriously not the performance I expected from a XXX$ card You would think that when you spend XXX$ for a card like this that it could deal with just about anything you throw at it. I cant even max Rift mmo due to 20fps. It most likely does not aid that my Monitor is a 1920X1200 but that aside I was a bit dissapointed. My card so far is stable OC'ed from 772Mhz to 885Mhz which was a good increase. I would have went with EVGA like I constantly do nonetheless a different retailed I had gift cards to had the PNY. I am pleased with the bought and the card has worked wonderfully so far.Intel Core I-7 2600K 3.4Ghz @ four.7GhzCorsair DDR3 1600PNY GTX 580 Core Clock 772MHz @ 885MhzWindows 7 Ultimate 64Dell ultrasharp 24inch 1920X1200
