PNY Quadro 600 VCQ600-PB Workstation Video Card
Cons:Can't do much else other than CAD work
Pros:Decent budget workstation cardWorks well for SolidWorks & AutoCAD Comment:
I bought this card as higher-end workstation cards are out of my budget. I use this card with AutoCAD and Solidworks and it runs well with both applications. Drivers are great, much better and more stable than their gaming counterparts. |

PNY Quadro 600 VCQ600-PB Workstation Video Card
Cons:Poor performance
Pros:Compact designLow price Comment:
The Quadro 600 is the current Fermi-based entry level workstation card from NVidia. Specs include: GF108GL core (~GTX480), 96 CUDA cores, 1GB DDR3.This unit was purchased to add to our in-house development and testing systems. I am the lead programmer for a software company that produces 3D CAD-like tools using OpenGL.Even though this card is essentially using the same core as the GTX480, its 3D performance on our tools is unexpectedly quite low. Our 3D engine is agnostic (no ATI or NVidia specific code) and GPU-bound and typically renders our scenes 2x to 5x faster than the comparable scene entities on a current AAA game engine, and this unit performs below the GeForce GTX275 and about equal to the GeForce 8800GTS.Since we are not using CUDA or any CAD-specific functions (AA lines, scissor, etc), the performance results may be better in other 3D CAD software that utilizes those features.Lackluster performance aside, the video card is compact, very quiet, and performs flawlessly in both 2D and 3D. |

PNY Quadro 600 VCQ600-PB Workstation Video Card
Cons:
none
Pros: Good pricesolid performance Comment:
I don't do a lot of high-end graphics work. I watch some HD video. I do a very small amount of video editing/processing. And I edit the occasional image file.I probably could have gotten a way with a slower card, but this one is a good price. It was worth the small increase in price to have all the extra power.I think this card is the sweet spot; you get great performance without paying a huge price. |
Very simple card. amaizing for 3d work very fast and stable I recommand it for anyone!
