Good value
Comment:
This entry level video card supports two DVI monitors at a reasonable resolution. It may have some limitations for high end game playing and big graphics but it is excellent for print quality standard photographic image handling, probably up to the largest non-commercial enlargements. The images are crisp without shadows.Don't expect the performance of a $500 card but I think the value is excellent. |
I bought this card for its power and fanless design, but did not understand the details and compatibilities between Displayport (which this card produces), DVI-D, and VGA (like my monitors). DVI-I video card outputs can be easily converted for VGA monitors with the DVI-I -> VGA adaptors that are included with many video cards. But the Displayport -> DVI-D cable adaptors with this card CANNOT be converted for VGA monitors by using simple DVI-D to VGA adaptors. So be sure you have the right monitors and monitor cabling before you buy this card. I presume it's a good card, but since I never used it, I'll give it a satisfactory because I can't say that it's excellent.
