If you need a good basic video card, this is a good choice. The picture is great, videos are flawless. There is a DVI and a VGA plug and it comes with a VGA to DVI adapter if needed. |

hmmmm lets see....it has a VGA, a DVI and a HDMI. DVDs come out in nice HD with flawless picture and flow. Frames are seemless. My only wish is that there was a tv out as well. |
I bought this card to replace the built-in videon on my HTPC. However the fan on this card is really small and spins at over 3000rpm, so there is some noise.For a typical desktop computer it may be OK (assuming your gear is not too quiet already) but for a HTPC it was too noisy (even when idle). I fixed the problem by removing the old fan and replacing it with an old AMD CPU fan I had: now it works great and no noise! However it now uses the equivalent of 2 slots.With the xmas rebate I paid 30$ for the card, which is still good value.
