Cons:Underclocked shaders, no SLI connector, humming noise when in use.
Pros:Low power use Comment:
I bought this to run in SLI with another GTS 250 but when I got it I saw that it doesnt even have a SLI connector. Shaders are underclocked and compared to any other GTS 250 this thing cant keep up. |

Cons:It's 1DVI and 1VGA so if you have dual DVI then you might need a adapter.
Pros:This card runs really smooth and quiet. It only need 1 external power. I run this with my 300watts Dell computer and play games without issue. Comment:
This is a great mid range card and its super cheap too. Wish I brought it a week prior so I could've got the free games. |

This is a GTS 250...but in reality the card has been tuned down so much you might as well buy a 9800 GT. The performance between the 2 cards is very similar. I was not expecting alot from the card and it does overclock enough to make it respectable. I just can't help thinking the "Green" should read "Core that did not pass, so we turned it down and are still calling it a GTS 250". Summing it up...the card is priced right and performs well enough. I just have a problem with the GTS 250 "Green", it is more like a GTS 245. |
