The transfer speeds are better then some of the scandisks ive used in the past.Im not sure on how reliable these are, after 3 weeks I lost mine, but all was great before then. They're not the fastest I'm sure, but they're plenty great for my needs. I get about 13MB/s sustained write speeds when dealing with large files, and read speeds are about the same or higher. Small files will obviously kill the transfer rate, and copying 2 things at once in 2 separate file transfer processes... but that's all normal.

Pros:Petit format, bonne protection physique contre les chocs et prix excellents. Comment: Cet appareil me surprend par ses qualités. Recouvrement de caoutchou ce qui la rend plus résistante aux chocs si on l'échappe ou la cogne, en plus de rendre le couvert un peu collant diminuant les risques de perdre ce dernier. De petit gabarit fait qu'il se traine bien dans une poche ou est discret au coup. Un peu lent pour le transfert mais rien de vraiment excessif. Couleurs questionnable (vert lime, mauve...). Très bonne réputation de la marque Patriot. À $16 pour 4Go je rachèterai certainement encore et encore. Fortement recommandable.

My Kenwood sound system got a front panel USB port and this flash drive is working perfectly. Took like 8minutes or so to transfert between 1-2go of music, so I don't know what some peoples are talking about, maybe they just need USB2.0.And yeah i'm always searching the cap in my car, little cap is easier to lose!

This was actually purchased for my girlfriend who was looking to move up from the 1 GB drive to something with a bit more capacity. I have no idea how long she can keep hold of this one, since she lost a larger 1 GB patriot drive. It seems pretty fast, and the price per GB is darn good. Would recommend it for anyone looking for a cheap 4 GB flash drive.

Aside from it being purple, I find that this little buddy does the job alright. The performances are not very impressive but the capacity is interesting. I can carry all my personnal files with me! Or I can use it has a Linux boot drive with swap space to spare!
