Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card

Has worked great with my Canon 870IS. The 8GB is certainly a lot of space, but I was seriously contemplating purchasing the 16GB. I suppose it depends on your needs. I wanted a large capacity SDHC class6 so that I can use this with a planned future purchase of a Canon flash based camcorder.

I bought this at the end of December 2007 and it became corrupt in 6 months. Mind you I was using it quite a lot, taking pics and videos of my newborn baby. Lucky I didn't lose much data as I d/l it to my computer when it's almost full.Anyway, warranty service was excellent. I filled out the RMA form, got my number and shipped the old one back and they shipped me a new one. It took about 1 1/2 - 2 weeks (From me sending it out by Canada Post to me receiving the new product). That's a really good turnaround. Thanks David Liou!The jury is still out for me on the reliability, but we'll see in a few months. If it craps out on me again, I'll have to think twice about buying Patriot, but if it runs strong, I might consider the 16GB SDHC. So will update the review in a few months time.

Very good card at a good price. Worked with my N800 no problem, even if it wasn't officially supported. Nothing much else to say, it performs like you'd expect and I haven't had any issues.

Very quick, and works great in the Canon A720IS. Allows for more than 2,000 photos on the highest setting.

Bought it when it's on sale, and it works great on my camera. Also, it's very fast and holds a lot more than my compact flash that i used to have.

Although SDHC card might not work with older camera, it works great with my recent one (3years), so make sure your camera handles high capacity card like t his one. Most recent one will, even if these card didn't exist at the time of shipping. Great value for the price, cheaper than 4x2GB.

Works great with my Pentax k200d camera.Goes as fast as my camera can go in continuous shooting mode and the price is really good for 8gb if you compare to other brands.

does what I want it to. It's home is my Canon SD1000 and havn't had a hiccup with it yet. Photos transfer insanely fast to my computer however videos seem to take quite a bit long, more so than the ratio in size ex:1mb pic vs 10mb video seems to take more than 10x the time of the 1mb pic.

Bought this on sale and is a great value. At first, I was worried about compatibility with my Panasonic DMC-TZ3 as the camera states it requires transfer speeds of 10Mb/s and Class 6 only guarantees 6Mb/s. However, I have not had any issues at all recording video at 30 fps in 16:9 mode. The only thing I'm bummed out about is that I can only record files of 2GB at a time (that's less than 20 mins at 16:9 30fps) but that is a limitation of the camera rather than the card.Edit:- the camera only displays 2Gb being available at one time, but I found that I can record longer than the 20 mins (2GB). works well with an Archos 605 4gb and a Garmin nuvi 650. This card will only work with hardware that supports sdhc technology. With all the sd cards for sale it is difficult to find good cheap sdhc cards.

Bought it on sale and it works with my Canon S3IS. I was deciding between OCZ (cheaper) or Patriot. With Patriot representative here and longer warranty, I pick Patriot and I am happy with my purchase so far.

Great value when on sale. Works as advertised with no problems. I was able to take plenty of photos during my vacation without worrying about whether I had enough space left on the card.

Purchased on for vacation using a Canon S3 IS - not listed as supporting SDHC, but worked fine in the camera. At highest picture resolution - allowed me to take upwards of 2800 pics for a 6MP camera. Very nice

J'ai acheté cette carte flash pour utiliser dans mon tablet PC Nokia N800 et aussi dans mon appareil photo Panasonic FZ8 et tout marche à merveille. Je n'ai aucun problème à utiliser cette carte mémoire en mode video pleine résolution avec ma caméra FZ8. J'ai fait des tests avec le logiciel HD Tach et cette carte mémoire est plus rapide que des disques dur SATA 150 avec une vitesse average read de 64.4 MB/s et burst speed de 204.3 MB/s avec le test long bench et une vitesse average read de 64.7 MB/s et burst speed de 204.0 MB/s avec le test quick bench. Le lecteur utilisé pour les tests avec HD Tach est un Sandisk Micromate SDHC. Une carte très performente pour le prix payé.

Purchased 2 for Canon 5S IS camera. Memory capacity is huge for photos and video - quality is superb. Service from NCIX was blazing fast.

A great solid product from Patriot. I have used it in my Asus Eee PC 4G, and in a Garmin Nuvi 350 GPS without any problems. Very fast, and I would definitely recommend it.

This is a very good deal. So far no problems with the card. My Cowon D2 has no problems with recognizing it. It also is like 5 times faster than my 2 gb sd card (the 2 gb card has no speed rating on it)

I bought this for my 4GB eeePC. It works perfectly, and is reasonably fast (though not as fast as my USB drive).8GB of extra storage really helps for the eeePC.

I bought this for storage for my Asus 4GB White Eee PC. IT is very fast and is very durable. highly recommended for the Eee PC users out there to save your internal SSD.

Anyone that purchased this card, make sure you extensively test this card on the first 30 days, as to take advantage of NCIX's excellent 30days warranty policy.This card, when coupled with a high speed SDHC reader, is capable of equivalent of up to 133x SD Card speed. It works exactly the way an SD card should work, fast and easy, no problems so far using it. It works great both in my camera and in my laptop. I havent tested the actual transfer speeds, but I have found it to be more than adequate for me.

For the money, you absolutely cannot go wrong with this card. At the medium settings in a 7.1Mp camera the card holds 5500 pictures which is insane. I have 3 cards and when I go on holidays I rotate them so if one craps out, I only lose 1/3 of my pix instead of all of them.

Works great in my Canon A570 IS camera. It can fit around 2500 pictures on the highest resolution setting or over an hour of 640x480 video. I will never need to swap cards again.Transfer speed is really fast too, using the USB cable that came w/ camera. I'm very happy with this product.

This SD card was used on a Canon S5 IS and it works! The camera can now take up to 2300 pics (max resolution, super fine quality). What else can I ask for?
