Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:None

Pros:Works great in my Nokia N800 tablet
Comment:
I purchased this for use in my Nokia N800 tablet. It works great and is a great deal for $34 - 8Gb. I've got the OS cloned to this card and the N800 seems much snappier .. and the 8Gb of space for installing apps is awesome!I will be picking up a second 8Gb card to use in my external slot on the tablet ... unless the price of the 16Gb version drops quickly :)

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:None so far except cannot be read by standard SD card reader I have

Pros:Great size, great price, good speeds
Comment:
Great card for the price. Plenty fast for my point and shoot camera (Canon powershot). Image transfer back to PC was plenty fast but I have not done any benchmarking. I would recommend this to anybody.

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:Class 6 is still as high as I can get a card at this size for the time being...

Pros:huge capacity (at the time, at least ), very fast transfer rates
Comment:
Very good memory card. Havn't tested the speeds yet, but it's keeping up with what i need it for. When transfering large files back to the computer from my digital camera, it does them faster than I would have expected. All in all, large capacity card, and it's fast :)

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:- Not the fastest.

Pros:- Low price.- Decent performance.
Comment:
Works fine in an ASUS Eee laptop. Plenty fast for most cameras and most uses, but arguably not so great for something like the Eee where performance matters more. Great value at $35 - 40.

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:One unit failed today

Pros:Works with eeepc, good price, decent speed
Comment:
I bought 3 of these to go with my new eeepc.I used one to install eeeXubuntu on. I have been using it extensively for 2 weeks with a lot of writes.Today, this SDHC card failed. Quickly and without warning. Reboot hangs on bios trying to recognize the card.It is not recognized in any card reader (including sandisk micromate usb thingy) or operating system (linux/xp) on eeepc or desktop, it can't be re-formatted, my camera says "Flash card error" with it. linux does not even list it as a disk anymore. My remaining patriot 8 gb sdhc cards are working fine... for now. I'm backing up regularly, expecting another failure.I was hitting it pretty hard though, a lot of compiles, subversion, netbeans, etc, 75% utilization. I just didn't expect the card to fail so soon and I did not expect it to fail so suddenly.Since I was giving it a lot of writes, I'm giving this product a 'satisfactory' grade until I see the other units fail.jeffk

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:none

Pros:Cheap, fast, compatible with Eee
Comment:
I was using a Kingmax 4Gb SD card with my Eee and the write speed was painfully slow. I didn't feel like spending a fortune on a Sandisk extreme III so I opted for this Patriot SDHC. I ran some tests and I'm quite happy with the results. I transfered a 345Mb file from the SSD to the cards with the folowing results: kingmax (internal 108 sec); kingmax (external 117 sec); Sony MMS 4Gb (external 147 sec); Patriot 8Gb SDHC class 6 (internal 50 sec); USB 2.5" laptop drive in a ngear enclosure (30 sec); Lexar CF 12x (external 53 sec).HD Tach says Average read speed 11.7 MB/s with random access time of 1.1ms. It took 27 sec to transfer the same file from the SDHC to the SSD. Same time for the Kingmax SD wich has an average read speed of 18.2 mb/s but a random access time of 2.2ms.My conclusion: This card makes me happy and I recommend it for Eee owner. I just wish it would be faster on the read side. To my surprise, the card works with my old all-in-one usb card reader. I ran HD tach and got a 13.2 MB/s average read. That seem to confirm the rumor about the Eee having a poor SDHC internal reader. This review was modfied by poster @ 02-05-08 10:48 AM

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:none

Pros:Cheap and fast
Comment:
This is a very good deal. So far no problems with the card. My Cowon D2 has no problems with recognizing it. It also is like 5 times faster than my 2 gb sd card (the 2 gb card has no speed rating on it)

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:None

Pros:Good storageDecent speed
Comment:
Got it on sale for 40 bucks and for my eee and it's worth getting. I've got no complaints about it as this is my first SD card for storage use so I don't have anything to compare it's speed to so it's fine to me.

Patriot 8GB Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card
Cons:None

Pros:Compatible with EEE
Comment:
Bought this for my Asus EEE. It works great as a secondary drive. I leave it in permanantly to store my documents. Others were having compatibility issues with their EEE, but this one works perfect. Good read/write speed also. Would recommend it to others, especially at this week's sale price ($40).
