Cons:none
Pros:good price good speed Comment:
I have a 4 year old laptop which I use for traveling. Typically I would only have 20-25 gigs of data on it but always found it anooying that it would take so long to boot up. Got this to replace the 80 gig SATA drive and am very pleased. Cloned the 80 gig using another machine, popped the SSD in and way to go!.Boot time down to about 45 seconds vs 2-3 minutes. |

Patriot PP60GS25SSDR Pyro Series 60GB 2.5IN SATA3 Solid State Disk Flash Drive SSD
Cons:Will likely need to update firmware
Pros:Fast as hell!Patriot's support responded fast when I requested help on their forums Comment:
Using this as my OS drive in my new PC - I issues early on which I determined to be a faulty SATA cable, but after replacing it I still encountered a couple crashes in Windows. However, once I switched to AHCI mode and updated firmware from 3.19 to 3.30, I haven't had a single issue and it's running great. Updating was easy too. Here's a benchmark I took of my drive a couple days after installing it:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v217/Mupod/atto1.jpg |

my first SSD and could not be happyerjust wish i got more then a 60G |
I have had this drive for 2 months now. This is my first SSD. I am impressed with the speed, boot time, software load time etc. However, I have had about 4 BSOD's which may or may not be related to this drive.I could not get the firmware upgraded either. After finding out that I had to runt the utility in Admin mode I was able to find the drive, but despite it saying it was upgraded, I still have the old firmware.60 GB is not really sufficient for me. I only have 7 GB left although I try to install 90% of my software on a different drive.Overall, not many complaints yet.
