I dont know, my method was unstable with this RAM. I cant blame the RAM on this, just a heads up to anybody who orders this, it created my technique very unstable with ASUS M4N98TD EVO mobo. So make confident this RAM is on the QVL for your mobo before you order it. I'm confident this RAM is okay, but I will never know given that it wasnt compatible with my construct. I switched out four Gb Patriot RAM when I upgraded - not as a result of I had to, I just wanted all for sticks matching. I have no complaints at all, and will happily buy Patriot RAM again. This memory functions just fine with my AMD develop (Athlon 445 Rana, Asus MB). I don't see why people assume it only functions for Intel MBs/CPUs.

RAM recognized promptly by my AMD 785GM-E51 mobo (Phenom II 925). Heatsinks appear great and are not too tall. Passed memtest without any errors. BIOS set RAM to 1066 mHz with 7-7-7 timings. I didn't mess with the settings at all. None so far. My mobo specifies RAM slots 1 & two (or three & 4) for dual channel operation. I bought this RAM mainly because my current RAM does not perform in dual channel- I am forced to use 1 & three or no boot. The Patriot RAM did the exact same so the problem is someplace else. Board has currently been RMA'd & I've tried a diverse processor. Thats a bit annoying.

No matter how much voltage I'd throw at it, and what latency I would decide on ƙ all the way to 11), it just woult NOT perform at anything more than 1200MHz..
