Patriot Sector 5 PVV34G1333LLK 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL 6-6-6-20 Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:
- Heat dissapating fins on top can be too high and hit an aftermarket fan if RAM sockets are too close to CPU socket
Pros: - Very good price for low latency RAM- Well Built |

Patriot Sector 5 PVV34G1333LLK 4GB DDR3 2X2GB DDR3-1333 CL 6-6-6-20 Dual Channel Memory Kit
Cons:
Non. I can't find any weakness. Patriot ram is one of the most trusted brands you can find. The quality is unmatched and for this price, it is on par with its competators.
Pros: Excellent quality. Completely stable under memtest and even more surprizing, my mobo didn't even list this brand of ram as compatible. When overclocking, I barely had to change the voltage of the ram (well in the end I did), but it was ridiculously stable under Prime. Only after memtest did i figure out i have to put a few more volts into it. Comment:
Great brand, very stable, great for overclocking, don't be afraid to push this thing to its limits. The most surprizing thing was that my motherboard did not even list this as a "compatible ram." |

This RAM has very high overclockability due to its tight timings. However, the physical dimensions of those fins on top can cause a problem on motherboards where the RAM is close to the CPU. I physically cannot fit these modules into one socket on my motherboard because it would hit my aftermarket CPU fan, and so I had to move them to the next socket. If I were to upgrade my computer with another 4GB of RAM, this set would not do because of physical dimensions.Performance wise, this is a very good set of RAM, and you really can't beat it for the price.
