It is functional I bought this card mainly because it was supposed to be a class four. It was even slower in transferring music than my stock that came with my Nexus One particular. I did a speed test from the SD Speed Tester app on android market and located that it only writes 1.five mb/sec. I would return it, but Newegg makes you pay for shipping on returns, so it isn't even worth it. I wish I would have bought a thing off A mazon rather. It holds what I need to have it to hold. I use it in my Archos 7o tablet. It doesn't create funny comments for me to use here. Ever ask oneself or have been told... it's not the size, just how you use it? 16GB is major adequate to satisfy most above par geeks.

High capacity, low cost. Like quite a few other individuals here, card is only writing on average 2.5mb/s-3mb/s. Somewhat disappointing as my final class four ran at 6mb/s but you win some and shed some. For the cost and use (phone) it meets my requirements.

Functions fantastic with my samsung focus wp7. It boosted my capacity from 8gb to 24gb. I have it 90% full and it writes the similar speed as it did empty, 4-4.5mb/sec. No problems loading apps, games, music or videos. No fault of the memory, wp7 demands a challenging reset to mix the sd card and the on board memory into one particular total memory. Which means you have to re-sync every little thing and some apps do not re-download. You have to go pick them seperately from your phones marketplace and redownload. If you attempt and redownload a app in zune desktop it says you currently bought it and cant redownload/install. Again, no fault of the card, just the way the memory acts with the phone.

NONE Extremely very slow read/write speed regardless of file size or action. It constantly error out. Save yourself the agony, please do not obtain this item. It does not worth the plastic it was manufactured on. I would have given it a (-2) egg if I could. I will not recommend this item to everyone not even my enemy. bought this after my Patriot Memory 8gb card failed after about 2 years. The price sucked me in for this 16gb. 4 months in, it failed. I have no faith in Patriot Memory after these two incidents. Now looking for my receipt since it's supposed to have a "life time warranty".Windows 7 does not detect it anymore, smart phones don't detect it, Linux sees it, thankfully, and opens as a read only file system, allowing you to save your files. But it won't format, repartition, etc. It's pretty much useless currently.

Performs excellent in my phone...holds a ton of useless apps...and holds even far more Music! Doesn't turn my telephone into Optimus Prime...fail!Not big enough to hold 80 Gigs of Music...but I kinda knew that prior to I bought it. Would totally adore to by no means have to acquire a phone once more...but that will never occur...and umm could I ever retailer my entire music library on a transportable device? This is a quite very good card. i formated it when i 1st got it and haven't actually had any complications due to the fact. It does write at Class four speed like it's supposed to and the integrated adapter is handy for my Pc. quite inexpensive but it doesn't at all really feel or function like a affordable card and has been reliable so far. it appears to have this concern when writing to it from the adapter exactly where is fairly a lot locks up when i try to move multiple files to it from various locations. i expect there to be a drop in speed when undertaking this but it may well go from an expected time of 2 minutes all the way up to eight hours and the write speed drops to a few kbs. it's additional annoying than actually getting an problem but worth noting. i'm essentially pretty positive it's a glitch with the adapter much more than the card since it only does it when in the adapter but they both came as a single product so minus 1 egg. other than the 1 annoyance i talked about, this is a very excellent card. i would absolutely recommend it for the price to size ratio.

Lots of storage for a somewhat low expense. Really slow. SD card speed test on an Android tablet rated this as a Class 2 card with 2 MB/s write speed and 5 MB/s reading speed. Actual speed of the card is vastly different than the advertised specifications. Acquire it if you want to archive files but not if you want to access media files routinely. Devote a bit additional and get a thing superior.
