When I bought it, it is on discount, the adapter is like free. Good price.When I first look at the packing, there is nothing mentioned about supporting SDXC, other than the NCIX sticker. But I actually test both adapters with micro SDXC card, and they both work.There is nothing special about the standard SD adapter. I bought this mainly because of the USB adapter. It is small and has a hole on one side. You can tie it up with a small string, like those for cell phone. But I would prefer to carry it with a case. Unfortunately, this product does not come with one.The good thing about the USB adapter is it is small, easy to carry. But it is so small, that the slot for micro USB card is so tight. It is hard to take the card out from the USB adapter. I have to rock it out all the time, takes a couple of minutes.So far, this seems to be a good product. |

This kit is the first I've noticed that includes a USB adapter for the card as well as the standard full-size SD variety. This USB adapter is tiny: barely thicker than the uSD card itself, it is just long enough to extend the USB pins. This means it takes up negligible space in your bag and weighs near enough to nothing, but this brings us to the only negative I have found so far. All of these small pieces are a pain to store, and the case Patriot normally includes has been omitted from this package. It's a tight fit, but I've found you can squeeze all three pieces into those clamshell cases with the USB adapter underneath the SD adapter. |
Purchased while on sale in-store and installed in Samsung Galaxy S4 and still functioning normally.I used the included USB-to-SD adapter as a portable drive with an old 8GB SD card, the adapter failed after about 4 months of daily usage. While functional it was pleasantly tiny on my keychain.
