Patriot Signature Flash MICROSDHC/MICROSDXC 64GB Class 10 With USB Reader and Adapter
Cons:none
Pros:USB dongle as well as your regular full size adaptor Comment:
The USB dongle is the reason I got this item. How ever I have had many other LX cards and you can`t go wrong with a Patriot. They should offer the USB thing with every card from every manufacturer. |
I got it when it was on sale and consider it a good value. It's too early to say how durable and reliable this card will be though. Been seeing a bit of users complaining about failure in a month or two. So will be seeing how this will fare. I will be using this in the Galaxy Note 2.The USB microSD card reader is quite compact. It has a small hole to put a lanyard on. But don't think it would be a good choice as it does seem delicate. Especially since the USB is not housed or encased. Contacts are easily exposed and damaged if not careful. The transfer rates in the Note 2 average 6-7MB/s write and 16-17MB/s read. Using USB OTG yields similar results. Connected to a computer, I see on average 8-8.5MB/s write and 18-20MB/s read. The really big issue with this kit is the USB microSD card reader. The card gets significantly hot when doing heavy data transfers.
