Patriot Supersonic Rage XT High Speed 32GB USB3.0 180MBS/50MBS Flash Memory Drive
Cons:1) The rubber housing might a tad large for some people (such as laptop users). It can cover the USB port next to it.
Pros:1) Very Fast (on a Core2Duo computer -> Write: starts at 70 MB/s and levels out at 38 MB/s; Read: 80 or 90 MB/s (I forget the exact number but it could have been higher))2) Shock proof3) Capless (some people like this) Comment:
One other user said he hated how this flash drive will retract when he's pushing the drive in while holding the middle part. Seriously? What do you expect? Then you say you would not buy again because you already have one? Just put a sticker or label on it.This is a great drive. I have the 2.0 version as well and it's great. If I need another USB flash drive I wouldn't hesitate to buy this again. One thought. I'm not sure how waterproof this is since it doesn't have a cap. |

Patriot Supersonic Rage XT High Speed 32GB USB3.0 180MBS/50MBS Flash Memory Drive
Cons:Sliding Body
Pros:Compact, Pretty Fast, Good Build Quality Comment:
The sliding body could slide in when you are plugging it into your USB port. I had hold onto rear body to prevent this. I've been using the drive for about a month now and it's still happening, and it's quite annoying when I am trying to over reach an USB port (e.g. plug in the back while standing in the front, plug drive under desk, etc)... I think I will eventually glue the sliding body with epoxy.Other than that. The drive is fast, the build is good, with really nice texture on the casing, and it's really compact which is easier to plug side-by-side with another USB device on my laptop, when compared to my Patroit Xporter XT.Will I buy again? No, because I don't to get mixed up with two identically looking USB drives, and I should be getting something like 64G next time. |
works well, i already had the usb2 version and this one is a lot faster...not the fastest but for the price it's really good. And the led activity light could be a lot stronger
