This is the first item that i have used from patriot in my pc build. As an upgrade from 8gb (2x4GB) to 16gb (4x4GB, this does the job very well. There is only one potential problem that some users may encouter if this is in fact caused by the ram itself. This RAM kit has reconfigured my Bios(Blk to 103 from 100 and multiplier from 45 to 43). interesting trade off but i cant reconfigure my bios with this kit installed. would buy again but with better frequency since this ram seems to be a bit lower end than my kingston hyperx kit
