Solid price, solid performance

Waited to review this RAM until 6 months had gone by... Works well with an MSI K9N2 Platinum Mobo & 7750 Black Ed. AMD CPU. Heavily overclocked CPU and RAM is running nicely at 2.15V, well within its tolerances. The CPU gets unstable before the RAM does. I settled in at 3.25GHz CPU and runs very well, am using a 9800GX2 video card. had heard good things about Patriot, despite seeming to be a relative newcomer. The price was very nice, now lower. Give it a shot. |

year life
Comment:
I have had this memory for 2 years and the dule action was not what I expected. One of the memory chips just wore out I did a test on each one and found one to be faulty, (Not Working at all) I also paid premium price. Do yourself a favor Compare and do not be cheap |

Does the job... Good Ram

I bought this Memory several months ago and my PC has been running good so far so good. Eventually I will try to overclock it a bit. I will post some updates of how the overclocking went. |

Cons:None.
Pros:Solidly built. Fits perfectly. Just works! Comment:
Plain and simple plug-and-play. Claims to support over-clocking but I haven't tried it, nor feel the need to. Works well and never felt a bottleneck with Core-2-Duo CPU. |

I bought this Memory as part of the package that included a 2GB USB Memory Stick and PC Mark Vantage. It is cool looking memory but from initial install I was getting irratic system start-up performance when it was set to DDR-1066. I downloaded Everest and ran some stress testing. It failed instantly at DDR-1066 with 2.1V although it was stable at DDR-800 and DDR-1000 (but by comparison my lower rated OCZ Reaper HPC PC6400 is stable at DDR-932 at just 1.85V) RMA'ing it cost $15 in postage so that just about wiped out the rebate being offered which was a big incentive to buy this in the first place. Maybe I got unlucky but I've bought OCZ in the past and it has always worked just fine and usually has quite a bit of overclocking headroom. I will likely stick with OCZ in the future. |

I purchased this to go onto my 680i mobo. I'm running it at 1066 & it appears to be working well with my Q6600 oc'ed to 3.4ghz. Haven't tried to overclock this RAM yet. Good Product Tiger! |

Pros:Outstandingly FastLook amazing Comment:
Awesome RAM, very fast tight timings, will work on 750A Chipset also - not just 690i or 790i. If your using a 64 bit OS, use these RAM sticks, you wont be sorry |
I've been using this for 4 months now and did not have any issues so far. Tried OC'd it to 1200mhz for about a week and it still going. Seems like the heatsink is doing a great job. I really appreciate the speed when running on 64-bit OS.
