These modules are engineered to reach PC3-12800 MHz) at 9-9-9-24 timings. Extremely staple so far and no issues at all. I bought these mainly because of the cost, availabilty and how steady Gigabyte has encouraged this kind of memory. Simply overclockable. None so far. running a Gigabtye EX58 Intense,12gb's memory, Ɠ) VelociRaptors WD3000HLFS in raid five, i7 Core 930 (overclocked to 3.two) and a pair of HD 4770 in crossfire. anything is watercooled and the temp doesn't get greater than 27.9c. |

Extremely quickly memory. 12GBs of this does a computer system quite nicely. I in no way have to be concerned about what or how quite a few programs I'm running, it can always be handled no dilemma. Value... In spite of the high priced value, if you have the budget for it, this RAM is fantastic! |

Operates as advertised. Ran memtest appropriate following installation with no errors via four passes Far better cooling? This RAM can get a bit hot. Not a huge deal, no troubles yet, so I guess it is staying inside thermal limits. Fantastic purchase. Almost certainly additional than I need to have, but better secure than sorry |

Defaulted to 7-7-7-20 rather of 9-9-9-24. Nice prospective OC on the suitable board contemplating how tight the timings are. Didn't get it from Newegg due to necessity of speed in develop, so paid a bit more and lost out on the rebate. As I stated above excellent timings just out of the box on an X58 board, ran two passes of Memtest86+ and passed as a group, what's not to like? |

Fantastic price from NewEgg. Fast shipping. I purchased two sets of these and opened them to cut the UPC for the rebate. Both sets of the internal plastic packaging were crushed. The modules had been poking by means of the plastic in one particular pack. In the other the modules had been sitting with each other at the bottom. They came out of the groves that preserve them separated. The Patriot box looked fine from the outside and NewEgg did an great job packing. I am about a month away from building my new rig and hopefully these will be fine. Once I confirm they are fine I will update.... Good heat spreaders, great timings, 4GB per stick is great! My mobo didn't like the XMP tRFC setting of 88, had to up to 100 for the technique to boot. Identified this fix visiting the Patriot support forums. Mobo is a Gigabyte GA-EX58-UD3R.With some mobo arrangements, the memory may possibly be too tall for some 3rd party heatsink/fan combos. Not with my mobo on the other hand. :) Giving this four eggs instead of five because of the XMP profile not operating correct with my motherboard. It was a strange issue, and I believed at 1st I had defective memory... |

Straightforward to install, good heatsink should move heat away simply. If your BIOS tries to run this memory at 1333, just allow the XMP settings in your BIOS. I did, and it immediately knew that this memory must be 1600 9-9-9-24 at 1.65v. None at all, except for the LLK vs. ELK model distinction... nobody knows what that means anyway. Not a fault of the memory, just the company. Right now I have this memory running at 8-9-8-24 timings and it's performing just fine. |
IF they worked it would be good. So far ive had nothing but problems with this ram, continuous bsod with all three in. memtested and one is complete of errors. sent three emails to patriot help(its been a week) and i get no email or phone call. i guess i shouldnt have been so inexpensive, and just gotten corsair dominators alternatively. oh nicely.
