Patriot Viper Xtreme 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory
Cons:Non that I can think of.
Pros:FastCoolReliableStable Easy to get running at higher frequencies Comment:
I've owned an 8GB set of these for about 6 months now, just bought another kit to make it 16GB. My PC is even more responsive than it was before. This memory is very fast and stable as it is cool. It takes only a few minutes in your the BIOS to configure this memory to run at 2400MHz clock speed w/ 11-11-11-30 CAS instead of the stated 1866MHz clock speed w/ 9-11-9-27 CAS without trouble. I'm not into aesthetics in the slightest, performance is what I look for in hardware... but this memory is just damn sexy with those copper heat spreaders. |

Pros:Fast and stable RAM. Amazing price. Comment:
Very stable RAM, enabled me to up my i5 670 to 4.0ghz stable, where the Ripjaws would fail the same memory tests and only stable at 3.8ghz. Quite a difference. |

Patriot Viper Xtreme 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1866 (PC3 15000) Desktop Memory
Cons:Heat spreader height
Pros:Overclockibility Comment:
Good, stable ram. Heat spreader is too tall to fit in first and second slots on a Crosshair V with a Corsair A70(large air cooler). If you want to use multiples, I suggest a liquid cooler. |

Cons:None
Pros:Really fast Comment:
This ram is pretty good for the price considering i bought it for 57.99$. The only thing you have to do to get 1866mhz is to get into the motherboard settings at the startup and change the RAM speed to 1866mhz. It will automatically set the putput to ram as 1.65v. Satisfied with my purchase. |

Cons:high voltage
Pros:good rampre-configured profile Comment:
its a pretty good ram, looks good too with my gigabyte mobo. it uses 1.65v which might be a bit high, so i might change it later or not. and the timings aren't bad either 9-11-9-27 so overall i think it's a good ram when it's on sale |

Cons:Works well
Pros:This kit works with my mobo (Asus P8Z68). Comment:
For some reason I can set to 1866 and it passes but the system still seems wonky unless I set the 4 X 4GB to 1600Mhz. I'll likely move on. |

Cons:price (although the sale price is nice!)
Pros:Works without any difficulty, appearance Comment:
I have 2 of these kits running on my Sabertooth 990FX, no issues or errors, I only ever had 50% ram usage at most (with 8GB), RAM use while gamin is now at about 20% with 16GB. The brushed black aircraft grade aluminum heatsinks go well with the military motif of the sabertooth board too. |

This is a very good pricing memory kits. if you are building a 16gb computer, instead of getting 2 1600hz memory kits, get 2 of this kit which will make your computer run even faster.
