This is the fastest drive I have ever owned. My macbook boots quick, and apps load almost instantly. One great thing is that it dropped my temperatures by about 5c.I'm sure people are wondering about random slow downs. I have done extensive testing in both Vista and OS X, and have not experienced any slowdowns. None.One piece of caution - if you get one, make sure it is a v2, as it has the optomized firmware.
