Patriot Xporter Supersonic Xpress 25MB/S Read 25MB/S Write 32GB USB3.0 Flash Memory Drive
Cons:Slow.
Pros:Capless, cool design, well built. Comment:
I was very disappointed with this drive as it gets write speeds on par with USB2. When copying several large avi files to the drive I got a transfer rate of less than 10 MB/s. Writing from the drive to my hard drive got much faster results around 50 MB/s. I'm beginning to think USB 3.o is all hype and no substance because this is the second item that worked marginally better than my older, and much less expensive, USB 2.0 items. |

Patriot Xporter Supersonic Xpress 25MB/S Read 25MB/S Write 32GB USB3.0 Flash Memory Drive
Cons:-Cheap plastic feel-Retracting not consistent
Pros:-Retractable-Activity indicator-Reasonable performance Comment:
I wanted a fast, retractable flash drive, but since NCIX doesn't sell the Lexar JumpDrive Triton or the Sandisk Extreme, and this guy was on sale, I gave it a try. Slower write than I was expecting, but at half price it's a good deal. |

Patriot Xporter Supersonic Xpress 25MB/S Read 25MB/S Write 32GB USB3.0 Flash Memory Drive
Cons:-None
Pros:-Massive storage-USB automatically retracts on removal Comment:
I'm in the middle of buying two or three of these to plant around the house and my office. Okay, maybe not two or three... but this thing's so good, I really want to! I use one of these on USB 2.0 machines, and even then it's as fast as you'd expect - faster than my old Corsair Voyager GT (which was a USB 2.0 drive). |
A decent stick but nothing to write home about. Transfer speeds are disappointing for USB 3.0; under 10Mb/sec. Seems well made and fits in most tiny laptop USB slots.
