Awesome flash drive. I have had zero problems and it is insanely fast. For example, I transferred an 8gb disk image in just under 9 minutes...pretty fast. Great sturdy design made to be thrown around without worry of breaking. Plus its only $30 after the mail in rebate...can't really beat it for that price or even for $45 before rebate...simply awesome..unbelievable fast and accurate date transfer....

The price of this flash drive may seem rather steep compared to the other 16GB flash drives available on this site, but you are getting what you pay for. This device is indeed much faster than the average flash drive and it'll still do what it is supposed to do, which is all anyone should really ask for. Like some other people, my cap eventually came off as well. It's lost somewhere at school, but that's alright, the device is still working properly. This device is worth the price if you are looking for something faster than the average flash drive. It also has a nice rubber case, which helps to protect it if you accidentally drop it on hard ground, which is a plus.

I have 2 16gb and 2 8gb Patriot xporters and I love them!! NEVER a problem transferring or losing data, fast transfer rates. Secure, shock-absorbent casing. I have dropped them several times, stepped on one once. I did lose a cap to one but contacted their customer service and they sent me a free one within 3 days!!! I now put the cap on the lanyard snap when I take it off and it holds it perfect!!! A definite recommend!!! Plus TigerDirect has it there with in a few days!

First USB drive of a dozen owned to die. Glad I chose it because of the lifetime warranty (oh, and the price was good). Have to mail it to California tomorrow - hope it's not too costly to send off.I will give Patriot the benefit of the doubt here, but I am not happy with the death. I copied 12gb of ghost images to move to a new PC I was setting up. Moved across the room and plugged it in - Windows said hardware failure. Tried another port, same error. Then went back to the original PC and connected it - no response. It was dead.Both PC's work fine, and my other USB's worked - first thought the PC showing error caused the problem - but it's been working well for 2 weeks.So Patriot is on my watchlist now.

Got this to replace the JetFlash 16GB that died on me in 6 months I got a 8GB one that's for backup but after the 16GB one went, I'm not so happy with my data been on the 8GB. This flash drive is just about perfect. Pros = 16 GB of MEMORY TRANSFER SPEEDS ARE PHENOMENALLY FAST I TRANSFERRED 4.5 GB IN 7 MINUTES GOOD SOLID WATER RESISTANT DESIGN Cons = Cap is great but i have the feeling that it will come off after a couple of months The rubber exterior for me is a hassle because i wear it with a lanyard over my shirt and all the dust gathers on it. Then i have to wash it.. Literally i rate this product a 98/100 Strongly recommend it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this drive in January and it is awesome. I was able to copy over 8 gigs to it in under 6 minutes. The best flash drive i own.

This is a big, fast drive. Didn't run full benchmarks on it, but it writes big files 50% faster than the 8GB version, and 120% faster than the Corsair Voyager 4GB.The outside housing is a little bulky, and the cap is easily misplaced. Other than that it's a fine drive. Now just have to wait for my MIR to come.

Excellent product! Arrived super fast (less than 24 hrs) thanks to TigerDirect. Definitely recommend. Minor downside, as one reviewer said that it only gives you 14.9GB instead of 16GB. Other than that, it's a great deal!

Bought this drive 6 months ago, and I am extremely pleased with the performance. I can fill up the drive in a little over 10 minutes. The drive is kind of large; I had assumed it'd be smaller from the pictures.

Mine worked swell for awhile. Now it does not work. Cannot see any volumes on it with either mac or pc. Screwed.

This is an excellent product. The rubber house it's in is very tough-feeling and with the end cap on it is somewhat water resistant. I'ts pretty fast, faster than my 4gb sandisk cruzer, 8gb kingston data traveler and 1gb cruzer.

Now, this drive has a really fast read speed, and a moderatly fast write speed. the read speed is truly 150x and the write speed i would say is about 50x. it wrote my World Of Warcraft file (aprox. 9gb) in about 2hrs and 15min. now thats pretty fast considering that it took me almost 2hrs to transfer the same file to my back up drive. but this is the perfect product for all of your needs. works well for transfering movies, games, music, pictures, or documents to any computer. i give this a 19/20 cuz of the lack of features. but i dont think many people will find that there ARE a lot of features that come with ANY flash drive :) -Mcspazatron

This FD is great. I already had the 4gig Patriot FD, and HAD to get this when I saw the price with rebate. For the reveiwer who bemoaned its upload speed, all I can say is ''Get Real!'' Of course it's slower up than down, find me an FD that isn't. Find me a plugin device that isn't period. The speeds are great compared to anything else out there.

I tried the 32 Gb Pariot Xporter, and I was disappointed and had to return it. It was very fast reading from it, however, writing to it was extremely slow. If you look at its original plastic package that this USB ships in, you will notice that it says 150X Read Speed, and no-where does it mention anything about writing speed. It was so slow it took more than 90 minutes to write about 6 Gg of data. If you are looking for writing speed, you definitely do not want this USB.

This drive is great. Large capacity & fast! The only negative if it really is a negative is that the case is rubberized and seems to collect dust & lint from your pocket. Other than that this is a great USB drive.

I used to have a cosair flash voyager 16gb, but unfortunatly i lost it. I replaced it with this, and at a third of the price. Seems a mlittle faster to me, but i can't confirm. Its definatly faster than my old 4gb mini hard drive. SO far it takes about 9 minutes to load all my ~9gb of music on it.

I bought this device to hold/play music in my car using my stereo usb connection. Having never done this before I was worried it would be too much or too slow to be used given it's 16GB size. However the device scanned quickly and it plays flawlessly. Easy to format and holds enough music/data to last a normal person quite awhile. Casing is very thick rubber so handles bumps and drops very well. Will be buying the 64GB model when it is available. These drives are perfect!
