Got this with a very good price and yesterday I got the 30$ MIR from Patriot.It's the fastest USB flash drive I've seen so far, way faster than the A-Data 16GB PD16 which sells for a similar price.Works great with Vista Ready-Boost even though, for aesthetic reasons I would recommend using a memory card for that purpose instead a USB flash drive.Had no issues with it.I hate the combination of black USB drive with white neck strap but it's just a simple matter of taste.

Bought this on weekly sale with MIR. Only downside I find is that cap making it only water resistant and not water proof. 16GB is lots of space to fit backups for documents, pics and other stuff. Much more portable than my 2.5 external hard drive. The write speeds is just as fast as a hard drive. but obviously storage size is not as big but enough. Best part is the Lifetime warrenty.

Purchased on sale + MIR for a great price. This USB key is housed in a black rubber case with the PATRIOT logo RED in colour.Protective rubber USB cap fits snug. The included white sting lanyard w/ detachable clip attaches to the back of the usb key on the rubber eye.16 Gb is a great size to have. Ability to hold movies, games, assortment of small and large files makes this USB key very user friendly.This unit also came with a USB extension cable which is not like the normal usb cable regarding build quality. This extension cable is very durable, ~15" in length and SOLID.PARTRIOT offers a lifetime warranty on this product.

This 16GB flash drive is very fast, faster than any other flash drive that I own. 16GB is plenty for all of my important documents and I no longer have to worry about causing damage to my old 2.5" external drive.The only negative I can think of is that the USB cover is friction fit. The cover may eventually get lost which negates the water resistant feature.

This is a VERY good key and great storage capacity for the price! The rubberised case is not bulky, and offers excellent protection against moisture and rain. The speed is VERY good. Much faster than the Transcend 8gb I have.

Not sure if it is the quality of Patriot products or just plain bad luck. This item that I just picked up 3 days ago did not work properly. When I plugged it in the USB drive, the machine spent a great deal of CPU and memory trying to find or recognize it. Messages like "New hardware found" might appear but that was about it. The machine would hang after that until you unplugged the flash drive. But even if it didn't hang, there was no new drive allocated for you to use the flash drive. I tried on five different machines, four with Windows XP and one Server 2003, it didn't work. When I tried the same USB drives with Apacer and Kingston flash drives, they worked fine. The flash drive is huge and the speeds are fast. You cannot go wrong with the flash drive especially in the beginning.

I love the drive. It has plenty of room for applications and files which are critical to my job. Can be a little expensive, but its worth it for me because of the amount of space I need.
