Comment:
Lots of Space, Read Speed is wonderful Write speed could be much better BUT.. I use this for playing videos on my 360 and storing information, i dont use it for any applications that need intense write speeds, other than that, how could you ask for a cooler looking flash drive. Plus (at least for now) none of my friends flash drives can compare to my beastly 32 GIG. I have additional memory in my pocket now than most people today have in their old Pentium 3 machines |

This flash drive is quick and huge. Correct now I only have filed up about 7 gb of the space. The write speeds aren't that wonderful compared to the read speed. The write speed is around 12-14 MB/second. The fastest read speed I have gotten was 27.7 MB/second! That was on a 3.99 Gb file. I have read the critiques of some men and women and practically didn't buy it but I took a leap of faith and Patriot came via. Right now at school I plugged my flash drive in and walked away from the personal computer for a second. The laptop or computer was on the ground and men and women were walking by so when I came back, the drive was bent to at least 30 Degrees. I was worried due to the fact of the critiques I read. When I bent it back into place I heard some cracks (the plastic casing on the inside) so I genuinely wanted to attempt it. When I got home I tried it and it worked with a 27.7 Mb/second read speed! I ɛ Patriot. They saved me from having to reinstall and reconfigure ubuntu when a person accidently bent my flash drive! |

When it works, it good and fast. I like the huge capacity. Lanyard is questionable the way it looks to me. A bit rubbery to the touch when you hold this thing. I have two of these. One so far works fine. The other has not and I almost lost files. I have emailed assistance with no response about 1 month ago. Now I have emailed them once again currently but no response yet. My assistance is **NOT TO Obtain FROM THIS Company** unless you don't mind a lack of support. I mean what good is the warrantee if they ignor your emails? Manufacturer Response:Dear one newegg client I'm sorry for the complications you have had contacting support. I would like you to contact me ASAP so I can resolve this sitaution for you and expedite the RMA for your drive.John SmithPatriot Memory Technical Support Teamassistance@patriotmem.com |

Cons:none
Pros:Size, Speed, Drop-ability, also water-res. Comment:
As far as Flash Drives go, these have been an amazing purchase. Already dropped it into tub and as long as you keep the rubber cover on it your set. Dried it off with a towel and worked like a charm. And speed compared to others i have had well lets just say its not much of a comparison. This thing is a monster when it comes to Flash Drives. |

I got the 32gb XPorter to replace my 16gb Corsair Voyager. Not only am I delighted by the extra capacity, but I locate it to be noticeably faster, both read and write. With ATTO Disk Benchmark I got a write speed of 21.7 mb/sec and a read speed of 30.1 mb/sec. The Corsair comes in at 11.1 mb/sec write and 23.4 mb/sec read. Aside from the benchmark test, I can feel the difference in every thing I do. It's a actual workhorse for me. I have oodles of software on it, mostly cost-free, and I can carry my complete workplace workload back and forth from property. And I have not had a difficulty carrying it in my pants pocket, as opposed to some other reviewers. I frankly don't see how rubberized construction is drastically diverse from that in the Corsair Voyager. As for the rebate, I received it in just over a month from the time I mailed it in.Couldn't be happier. None at this time, having had it a small over a month. |

Extremely trustworthyHeavy Duty, rubberizing housing works Good!Read speed is fast. 22 ~ 24 MB/s None at all. Read below why i feel so. The other day i did some laundry. Coincidentally i was searching for my patriot flash driver the same day. When i took out my cloths from the dryer......i fount my patriot. I was in disbelief. I was so mad, i thought that so a lot of my info got erased and lost funds. I went to plug it on my pc for the hell of it. To my surprise it nonetheless worked and all my information was nonetheless there. Even the light still works. It went by way of hot water, detergent, fabric softener and half hour on high temp dryer. If it had been to break down soon, i will obtain ONLY this patriot flash drive. |

The drive reacts quicker than my old stuff. I have some really old USB Flash devices simply because I just havn't had the need to upgrade and when I did I went with something bigger. The transfer rates off my HDDs was about five.5 to 7meg onto the device which I didn't mind at all. I transferred all the information from my smaller devices onto this one but kept the other people for tiny backups. It did that within ten minutes and I have a couple gigs worth I did that to. I have been using this with the Clarion head unit in my automobile for MP3 listening as properly and I ought to say, 32 gig is alot of music to have in your automobile. I am really nicely pleased with mine, but do see the cons. I gave this a four due to the fact regardless of the superior it has some issues I would perform on. The cap is going to be gone here in a minute, I just feel it. The other thing is that I wouldn't be comfy with this around my neck, why? Simply because it just has the little rubber piece to hold the lanyard about it. Looks like that would break too soon for me. It is somewhat bulky compared to my last drives, but they were 1-two gig anyway. The last thing would in all probability be that the transfer rates aren't as high as I would like. The dang thing is secure physically. It has rubber all about it. I don't recommend throwing it against a wall, but I bet you can drop it a couple times, np! Comes with a small usb extension as properly, I liked it. |

Great read speed. Horrible write speed. Transferring large single files writes at about 20 MB/s, however the flash drive is slow to write many smaller files. Moving 17,000 files Ƒ GB of data) runs at about 1-2 MB / s. The smaller 4 GB Xporter writes the same information at about 20-30 MB / s. Manufacturer Response:Dear Architectd I'm sorry you are getting speed problems with your new USB drive. I would like to assist you resolve this problem. It worked as a regular USB Drive, absolutely nothing really fast to brag about. Immediately after owning it for 5 months, and hardly using it from laptop to computer, and so on. The USB port on the drive bent and it never worked right after that, I opened up the plastic covering and it broke off very easily. It was created with low cost plastic and it seemed like the port was barely attached to the chipset itself, only but five small tin pieces of plastic. Not worth 70 dollars simply because of how effortlessly it is for the USB to detach from the drive. DO NOT Get. Newegg is great. k bye Manufacturer Response:Dear Valued Consumer, We regret to hear that you are getting issues with our flash drives. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with support@patriotmem.com and we will be glad to troubleshoot the problem and/or replace the drive below warranty. Thank You for choosing Patriot! Rubber case is nice. USB connector came loose from the board in less than a year. Lost all my information. Contacts just popped off the board. Lost the cap nearly proper away. Inside the rubber case is a really low-cost clear plastic snap apart case which holds the usb drive. Not extremely sturdy to keep the USB connector rigid. I carried the drive on my keychain - this is not a fantastic keychain drive even with the rubber casing. Going for a retractable drive this time around.
